Alles dunkel ins Haus faellt noch kein Licht

Die Fenster sind zu doch viel veraendert hat sich nicht
(The windows are closed, but it has not changed much)

Alles steht noch so wie es frueher war
(Everything stands still so as it was before/earlier)

Nur einsam und verlassen
(Only lonely and abandoned/deserted)


Schlechte Zeiten koennen auch mir den Kopf verdrehn
(Bad times can also twist my head)

Jetzt will ich wieder mal die Sonne sehn
(Now I want to see the sun one more time again)

Ich suche und ich finde kein Bild von dir
(I search and I find no picture of you)

Anders halt ich das nicht aus
(Otherwise I cannot bear that)

(The beginning of the end)

Ist dass man nichts vergisst
(Is that one forgets nothing) 

Die Uhr die nicht mehr laeuft 
(The clock that does not run anymore)

Will sagen dass was zu Ende ist
(Wants to say that is what at the end is)


Ich geh zum Auto hol meine Koffer raus
(I go to the car and bring out my suitcases/luggage)

Dabei faellt mir auf der Garten sieht verwildert aus
(There I notice that the garden looks overgrown)

Ich geh rein und mach die Tuer hinter mir zu
(I go in and lock the door behind me)

Es ist fast so wie frueher, nur ohne dich
(It is almost so as earlier, only without you)
