Greetings! Welcome to the home of Nemos Ognios, the Grove of the Living Flame, ADF.
Nemos Ognios is Proto-Indo-European (PIE), and loosely translates as "Grove of the Living Flame." Our grove was founded in June of 2000 and serves the spiritual needs and intellectual curiousity of those in the northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire areas. Our focus is on hearth and community, and our cultural focus tends to be Celtic, Roman and Proto-Indo-European (PIE), although from time to time, we may do rituals with other Indo-European (IE) pantheons.
Ar
nDraiocht Fein ("arn-REE-ocht-FANE"),
or ADF for short, means "Our Own Druidry" in Gaelic. It was
founded in 1983 by Isaac Bonewits and is now a dynamic part of the Neopagan
movement - one of the fastest-growing religions in America. From our beginnings
we've been committed to serving the whole Pagan community. Druidic worship
is open and inclusive. We welcome Pagans of every tradition and path, as well
as those who just want to learn more about Druidry or Pagan ways in general.
We ask only that you respect our ways; you can expect the same from us.
