Belize "All Clear" of Chantal
At 9:00 am today, the National Emergency Management Organizaztion has declared the Green Phase of "All Clear" for the entire country of Belize.

Belize is now considered outside the influence of Tropical Storm Chantal, although there will be outbursts of showers and winds gusts throughout the day. 

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for allof Coastal Belize.  All small crafts are hereby advised to remain in port until further notice.

At 9:00 am, surface and radar observation indicated that the centre of Tropical Storm Chantal was located near Latitude 18.5 North, Longitude 89.,1 West or about 50 miles West of Chetumal, Mexico. 

Chantal is moving towards the West Northwest at about 6 miles per hour and this general motion is expected to continue with some forward speed over the next 24 hours.
