EROTIC FAN-FIC THOUGHTS:

It's been quite awhile since the Gray Archive incident. Thankfully things have quieted down significantly since I removed my stories from the GA and quit posting on newsgroups. I think that the majority of the flames I was suffering from originated from the newsgroup posts, a lot of people had access to my fanfic pieces that shouldn't have, people who don't like erotic fic, etc. Now that I maintain my own story archives and keep the links to a minimum, things have been nice and peaceful. I've done a few major fan-fic adaptions, the Diablo II tale that I spent my week of vacation working on, the Damnation short series for Fallen Angel, and a lot of illustrated pieces using teen model sets that I downloaded along with a few hentai set adaptions. The illustrated stories have been fun, I enjoyed trying to put interesting back stories to the pictures. The girls have certainly been inspirational! :)

I was disappointed when I started having problems with Tales Beta. The first free host I used had very slow bandwidth, the loading errors became too much of a problem, so I switched to another host that was recommended. Tales Beta has been down recently due to a hacker attack on the free host. They sent me an e-mail telling me what happened and promising to have all the sites back up in a few days. I've been checking regularly, but unfortunately the host is still down. If the host can't bring Beta back up in another week, I'm afraid that I'll have to remove the links permanently. I've had so many problems finding a good host for Beta that I'm not going to find another, I'll content myself with Tales and Hentai.

READER FEEDBACK:

Over the last six months I've heard from several of my long-time readers. I've enjoyed reading your e-mails, I'm very happy that most of you have stuck with me during all the changes and site moves. I was very reluctant to read letters during the flame incidents, but now that the flamers are gone and only the good readers are left, I am open to your comments and thoughts about my writing. I don't take requests anymore because I did that for a long time and really don't feel like doing any more game fic unless I have a very strong story to work with. However, if you really enjoy one of my original series and would like to see some more, please feel free to send me a note, or if you have an original idea of your own that you would like to share I wouldn't mind reading it over. I received some interesting ideas last year ranging from different zombie stories to a murder mystery which I gave a try. One of the things I try to do as a writer is to attempt different types of erotic stories in different genres, I don't just compose fantasy or sci-fi stories exclusively, I attempt both genres, along with horror and teen fiction.

The most recent letters I received regarded Baldur's Gate II and Resident Evil:

I've received several nice feedback letters about Baldur's Gate II. The Son of Bhaal series seems to be popular. I enjoyed writing it. The Unraveling of the Weave was a departure from normal D&D fic, I tried to give Unraveling more of a Japanese RPG tone, please let me know if you liked it.

Another reader wondered if I would write more Resident Evil fanfic. I told him that I didn't have any immediate plans, but I would consider writing another if I had a really good story to develop. I remember some older requests for a story where one of the girls became infected and went on a rampage, I think I might try to work on that idea for a sequel to my Code: Veronica piece. Let me know what you think.

I've read a few requests for Final Fantasy 9 fanfic. To be honest I'm rather burned out on FF, after the string of FF 8 pieces I couldn't do another one if I tried. I haven't even played FF 9 yet, but I hear that it's a great RPG.

MY OTHER HOBBIES:

Contrary to what some might think, I don't spend all of my free time writing erotica and enjoying porn, although that can be fun too! :) For those who care, here are a few things I'm messing around with right now:

Legend of the Five Rings

One of my friends let me borrow The Scorpion and The Unicorn novels. Those stories got me hooked on the exotic world of Rokugan. I've been mail-ordering several of the game books for the L5R RPG, there's a wealth of material to absorb, I hope to use it to write more L5R fanfic. Breath of Fire IV

I just bought BoF 4 on Saturday. It's a great game, the character animations are exceptional, the game play's good without a lot of killing just to get levels or gold, and the story is very engrossing. I highly recommend it!

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

There are very few truly original movies coming out these days. This movie blew me away, it's sooo cool! :) The fighting scenes are better than the Matrix, with characters flying across rooftops and fighting with a variety of different swords and other ancient weapons. The story and characters are truly epic, this is one of my all-time favorite movies, if you're a fan of anime and myth like me, you'll love this movie! I'm going to see it again Thursday with a friend. :)

 

CLOSING REMARKS:

Well, I think I've vented enough for one day. :) I hope you enjoyed reading my ramblings about writing and my hobbies. I'll post some more when I get a chance. I know I haven't been the most steady webmaster, shutting down sites at whim, etc., but I like to think that as I get older I become a little more reliable. Erotic Tales and Erotic Hentai Tales will stay up as long as the free hosts hold up, while I rest please have fun reading the stories I've already posted.
