| NEMAHC TRAIL RIDING/DRIVING PROGRAM (TR/D) |
| Become a NEMAHC member and hit the trails!! NEMAHC members and their horses can compete for year-end and certificate of merit (COM) awards while they trail ride. Members ride or drive their horses in harness on the trails and record their hours and trail locations. At the end of the season, the member submits his/her trail record to the TR/D secretary. Every hour on the trails equals 1 point. The TR/D secretary tallies up all the points and awards are presented at the annual awards banquet to the adult grand champion and reserve champion, youth grand champion and reserve champion, and the grand champion and reserve champion trail horse of the year. Trail points also accumulate from year to year toward the rider's COM and the horse's COM. If this sounds like fun to you, complete a NEMAHC membership form and start riding.
