Weren't we just at Pocono last month?

Remember the race that lasted till Monday?  Rain brought about the last minute decision to bump the race a day.  And Jeremy Mayfield decided to put a last lap bump on Earnhardt to reign. I can't remember the last time I saw Dale get "intimidated" out of a win.

I CAN, however, remember the last prediction I put ya'll through.  Although, over the last coupla weeks, I've gotten only one nasty note about makin' fun of Kenny.  I'd touched some Irwin-ite's last nerve with the South Park comment.  It's kinda hard to give Last "Writes" to a driver like Irwin, though.  My only lasting impression of him is doin' donuts in the infield...But well BEFORE the last lap is run.

The last thing that struck me as I read my scoldin', was that I had no clue who this cat was......At last, I have proof that some of you are forwarding this crap around.   Did I fail to mention that the first and last rule of 'Write Club' is "You don't talk about Write Club."?   Has wanton disregard outlasted one's respect for creative and intellectual property?.......... Or has wanton SELF-regard outboasted the last of my humilty?

Okay, new last rule of 'Write Club':  If you can FIND some creative and intellectual property, forward it around first and ask me last (if at all.)  Honestly, my LAST concern is "ownership" of some malcontented musings.(......'Cept maybe that last part about "malcontented musings.")

Last run at the Pennsyl-viangle track and Amish it already....(Alas, the rimshots aren't cheap.)

Geoff Bodine has finished on the lead lap in 9 of the last 11 races at Pocono.  This week he was last on the list of fastest (qualifiers) and will hafta watch this one from the sidelines.

Tony Stewart's last win at the New Handkerchief track was a gas mileage fluke.  And his heavy foot may cost him today if he has to spend the last few laps featherin' his fuel....4th

Rusty's last bonehead pit stop call came at this track a couple of months ago.  Last June's spring race at Pocono was his for the asking.  This week, he's askin' for lasting wisdom...3rd

Sterling Marlin sat on the pole here last year and ended up finishing 22nd.  This year he start's 34th and the last thing he could be considering is winning this thing...24th

You'd think Steve Park's car would feel right at home here in Pennz-ylvania, but his last few finishes here have been nothing worth writing home about...18th

On any given Pocono Sunday, Ward Burton is lucky to be rolling during the last few laps. That nawthern track is the last place this V'ginia boy likes to visit.....29th.

Michael Waltrip came in last here a couple of months ago.  But the last word I got, was that he's changin' engines and hopes to finish in the top 40 this week....26th

Mark Martin has a top 5 finish in each of the last 4 races this year, and in 8 of the last 9 races at Pocono.  But, even though it's one of his favorite tracks, he never seems to end up leadin' that last lap.  Today, we'll see the last of that jinx....Cursed to 1st.

Rick Mast's last top 5 was back when they drove on wooden wheels.  His only hope is that a last lap tangle will slip his Trojan horse into the top 25......23rd.

Jeff Gordon's last win came a couple of weeks ago at Sonoma.  His last LAST place finish was at Texas in 1999.  His last 17th place came at.....(Ya'll don't actually read every last word of this tripe, do ya?)  Gordon leads most every lap but the last one....7th

Well, that's the last of our little 'Write Club' for his week.  We've got yet another off week comin' so this'll hafta last ya till we get to the Brick.

Let's just hope it's the last we see of Jim's 'Brad Pitt' imitation..
