Dear guests of Linedance Afternoon:

Please accept my sincere thanks to all of you who attended the "Linedance Afternoon" at Shangri-la on April 22nd. I really appreciate your feedback by completing the questionnaires. I have summarized the response as follows:
 

The rating definitely favours to host the future "Linedance Afternoon" at this new location - Shangri-la. I'll be making future arrangements at this location and announce the dates and details at my website.

Many of you told me that you like "Linedance Afternoon". Based on some initial feedback (and many thanks to those who talked to me at Shangri-la or phoned me afterwards - I take it as "you care about this event and care about me"), and in order to make the event more entertaining and enjoyable, I'll make the following improvements for the future events:

- White table cover sheet will be placed on top of each table to make it more party-looking. Some even suggested to put floral arrangment. I'll see if Alex (my wife) can help me out here.
- Room temperature will be improved. A/C was not turned on because it was at the seasonal change. It will be set to proper temperature in the future.
- The lighting will be set as per later in the afternoon (after I found out some of the switches were behind the stage), and the exit doors will be closed. It will then enhance the lighting.
- I'll adjust the decibels of the hi-fi/CD so the music will be louder, as per the level of the microphone. The microphone is loud enough, so it's just a matter for me to turn up the decibels of the CD. I'll also make arrangement to have louder speakers.
- I've to collect more data about the female washroom facilities before I can formulate my action plan. The male washroom was fine.
- 3 responses have indicated the interests to have coffee and tea. Unfortunately, Shangri-la does not offer this service. I can only suggest that you can bring your own and put it in a thermal flask.
- Another suggestion was to alternate the location every other month. I can see the benefit of a different venue to generate the 'new'  and 'change' look. However, the downside to this is that we'll lose the bargaining advantage/edge of being a frequent user/customer.

There's suggestion to reduce the dance review before music starts. The dancelist is organized to have 4 linedances per session and the general rule of thumb is to only review the 3rd and the 4th dances once. This is for the benefit to those who have learned the dance but may have forgotten couple of steps. The general feedback is that it's very beneficial to them and they would like it to be continued. For those who go linedancing 2-5 times weekly may find it a bit too redundant. For over 100+ guests, it is not possible to have a program that fits everyone's need. So, to this extent, I ask for your patience and understanding.

The above summarizes the feedback so far. I welcome your suggestions. Please call me or talk to me about this new location. I'm excited about the over-whelming attendance. It means there're many people who like the program, and I'm committed to continue to improve the program for your enjoyment in the future.

La Perla "Club My Way" Schedule and Dance List

La Perla is located at 8083 Jane Street, City of Vaughan, just 2 lights north of Hwy #7. Telephone number is 905-761-7288. Entrance to "Club My Way" is at the back of the Building. There is ample parking space. "Club My Way" has a 'sunken' dance floor and therefore it offers guests a spectacular view when line dancers are dancing their routines.
