4,1           Step back with left foot, hold (Swing left arm diagonally  back for styling)

2,3           Rock back with right foot, recover weight forward to left foot

4,1&        Rock forward with right foot, (1)hold, (&)pivot ¼ right on RF and touch LF next to RF (3:00),

 

2,3&        Step forward with left foot, step forward RF and (&)make a sharp ½ left turn (9:00)(raise right arm and wrap around over the head)

4,1           Step back with left foot, hold

 

2,3           Hip twist - Slide/step RF back next to LF with hip to right(lift L heel), step LF forward

4,1           Step forward with right foot, hold

 

2,3&        Step forward with left foot, step forward RF and (&)pivot on RF make a ¾ sharp left turn (12:00) (raise right arm and wrap around over the head)

4,1           Step LF to left side, hold

 

2,3           Fencing - Cross RF over LF leaning body diagonally forward left, spread both arms out(CBM – contra body movement; left arm to the left side and right arm to the right side ), recover weight on LF

4,1           Step RF to right side, hold

 

&2&3     (&)Pivot RF ¼ right and LF touch next to RF, (2)Step LF forward, (&)Pivot ½ turn right on LF, (3) Shift weight on to RF, (&)Pivot ¼ turn right

4,1           (4)Step LF next to RF (weight on LF), hold

 

2,3           Cucaracha (Side rock) – Step RF to right (extend right arm to right, and turn your head to look at the righ hand for styling), and recover weight on LF

4,1           Step RF next to LF, hold

 

2,3           Cucaracha (Side rock) - Rock LF to left (extend left arm to left, and turn your head to look at the left hand for styling), and recover weight on RF

4,1           Step LF next to RF, hold

 

2,3           Sliding Door Steps (Feature Moves of the dance)- Rock back with right foot, recover weight forward to left foot (Hand movement: right arm up and left hand touch belly in front)

4,1           Cross RF over LF, hold (Hand movement: spread both arms out)

2,3           Step left foot to left side slightly diagonal, recover weight forward to right foot

                (Hand movement: 2 - right hand/arm move from right to left, simulating the opening of gate)

                (3 - right hand/arm movement back from left to right, closing the gate)

                Simpler version is to extend the left arm to left side.

4,1           Step LF behind RF, hold

Sliding Door Steps (Bigger movement in foot steps and hands)

2,3           Rock back with right foot, recover weight forward to left foot

                (Hand movement: 2 - right arm up and left hand touch belly in front)

4,1           Cross RF over LF, hold

                (Hand movement: spread both arms out)

2,3           Step left foot to left side slightly diagonal, recover weight forward to right foot

                (Hand movement: 2 - right hand/arm move from right to left, simulating the opening of gate)

                (3 - right hand/arm movement back from left to right, closing the gate)

Simpler version is to extend the left arm to side.

4,1           Step LF behind RF, hold

2,3           Rock back with right foot, recover weight forward to left foot

                (Hand movement: 2 - right arm up and left hand touch belly in front)

4,1           Step forward RF and make a left full turn spiral (weight on RF) (raise right arm and wrap around over the head)

2,3           Step forward LF, step forward RF (12:00)

&4,1        (&) Pivot ½ left turn on RF. Step back LF, hold (First step of the dance, Repeat!)
