Hiking at Crawford Lake and Dancing at Mohawk Inn

This fee does not include transportation. Please arrange your own car-pool.

Please expect to pay $5 for your share of gas and the use of the vehicle
to the driver/owner.
Meeting @ Finch Subway east-side parking lot (free),
close to the GO
Bus terminal. Be there at 9 a.m.

The schedule is as follows:
9:00 a.m. Meet at Finch Subway east-side parking lot.
Map and direction will be distributed to each car driver. you can also print
a copy of the map and direction by clicking

10:00 a.m. Arrive at Crawford Lake and assemble at the
Visitor Centre. We'll divide ourselves into approximately 4 groups with colour-coded
tags.
10:15 a.m. 2 hiking trails. We’ll divide into 4 teams.
Each team will have a team leader: Nelson Wong, Peggy Wan, Helina Koo and
Anita Tang. Leisure walk trail will follow the tree-covered boardwalk around
the glacier lake (1 hour leisure and scenic walk). The more challenging trail
will consist of the glacier lake trail and a tree-covered trail (1 hour and
45 minutes). Anita Tang is the leader of the more challenging trail.
WHAT TO BRING FOR HIKING:
- water
- running shoes
- mosquitoe spray. We'll have some cans if you forget to bring your
own
- hat and sun-screen (optional as the trail is largely covered and
sheltered).
12:00 p.m. Meet at the Visitor centre
12:15 p.m. Leave Crawford Lake
12:20 p.m. Arrive at Mohawk Inn
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:00 p.m. Volunteer Recognition
1:30 p.m. Linedance
and Ballroom Program (4/2 combination)
1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are 3 parallel activities in the afternoon:
Dancing, Re-entry to Crawford Lake and Visit to nearby Casino with $10 "free
cash"
5:30 p.m. Program ends
Those who skip hiking will go directly to Mohawk Inn before 12:30 p.m.
