Black Coffee in Toronto GTA Area is a dance that combines Black Coffee 1 and the internet version of Black Coffee.

1-8       Right foot KBC X 2, side, behind, side, touch, moving to the right

 

1-8       Left foot KBC X 2, side, behind, side, touch, moving to the left

 

1-4       Right Conga: start stepping RF forward facing 2 o’clock (1/4 to the right)

            step LF forward; step RF forward and make a ½ left turn facing 9 o’clock;

            pop left knee up and lift left heel

 

5-8       (Modified) Left Conga: (face 10 o’clock for these 4 counts)

            step LF forward; step RF forward; step LF forward; shift weight on to RF and 

            do a right hip bump while popping left knee and lift left heel

 

1-4       (Face 9 o’clock) Left hip bump forward; Right hip bump back; hip bump LRL

&         Shift weight back to RF

5-8       Step LF forward; RF touch behind LF; Step RF backward; LF touch in front of RF;

 

1-4       Make a ¾ left 3 step turn and clap (facing 12 o’clock)

5-8       Make a full right 3 step turn and clap

 

1,2       Jump forward on both feet, hold (twist your body by moving your hip L and R)

3,4       Jump back on both feet, hold (twist your body by moving your hip L and R)

 

5-8       5 - Step LF forward ¼ to the left (facing 9 o’clock)

6,7,8 - left arm straight out with left palm facing up, right arm pour coffee on to left palm (alternatively: right hand claps on top of left hand)

            8 - Touch RF next to LF

 

Repeat from the beginning. Please note that Black Coffee I is usually danced together with Black Coffee (internet version). The combined Black Coffee 1 and internet Black Coffee is called Black Coffee or Second Cup.
