23 feb 2001 friday again.... time to relax and enjoy... i have been working for one week... there wasn't much to be done... except working on web-pages for my boss.... i realized that i should master dreamweaver... flash.... photoshop.... then i can work part time as web designer... during summer... i think i can give it a try.... after i come back from my vacations... i will experiment and try out all the different designing software... hopefully by summer... i am prepared to take assignments... i will change the looks of these pages when i am back in april... another revamp of the pages... have to buy some snowboarding magazines... i like the way the magazines are designed... beautiful... hopefully i get all the time i want when school starts in april... hoping to get one day off every week... like last tem.... it would be wonderful it were on friday... have to get myself down to some serious work starting next april... in terms of web designing.... wonder if i can pick up java scripting... cgi/perl stuff... 3d graphics designing... guess it all depends on how much time i have.... and how much am i going to discipline myself... looking forward to becoming something more than an amateur...

19 feb 2001 back at work since saturday... back to the days where i have to wake up early every morning.... some how these days... i feel really sleepy... after coming back from work... i have to go to bed soon... my eyes refuse to stay open... i will be working for the whole of this week... before i go on a long vacation.... really looking forward to that... wonder if i get the chance to snowboard or snowmobile over there....

16 feb 2001 snowboarding was so good yesterday... i manage to ride the slopes from the top to bottom without stumbling... i am confident enough.... i was with 2 other classmates... one of them was ski-boarding.... the short version of the ski... it looks like fun too... i had a lot of fun... i tried riding on powder... really felt great... next season... i will start to ride in the out-of-bounds areas... that will be exhilarating... i did try the jumps too.... i approached the ramp at slow speeds... but once over it... i pick up so much speed... real scary when you land.... but exciting.... looking forward to next season... when i can try to learn all the tricks... this season... i am contented with being able to ride the slopes... and try some jumps... check out the learning curve.... you are not going to believe it... i am going to snowboard again.... later this evening... seems like i am addicted to ride the slopes... where is the powder ? i had my english oral exam earlier today... it was so easy for me... still do not understand why i have to take english classes... anyway.... another A in my report card looks good... so i am not complaining.... so that means.... spring vacation has officially started... hooray!

14 feb 2001 last evening....i went snowboarding after i had my french exams... it was so good!!!! i think i am addicted to snowboarding... nothing beats riding the slopes.... cannot wait till i get better.... i will be going tomorrow again... for the whole day.... i am sure that by the end of tomorrow... i would have become fairly confident of my snowboarding... really looking forward to it.... want to have a look at the course? well... my exams are almost over... i have the last paper on friday... but it is an english oral exam.. so does not really bother me at all... really wonder what my grades would be like.... valentine's day today... do you know that in japan... the girls give chocolate to the guy she fancy... so on 14th feb... the guys do all the receiving... and they get nothing but chocolate... so if want to make a quick buck in japan on the 14th... sell chocolates... not roses.... i am thinking of making another website... something totally different... hmmm .... do i have the time?

12 feb 2001 long time since i last spent time doing up my pages... i did felt the urge to do something to my pages... not major revamps.. but to include new stuff... yesterday... i was helping my boss to make homepages... i made use of flash 5... it was about 2 months back since i last used flash... suddenly... i wanted to make flash movies very badly... realized that so much can be done using flash... hopefully i can make another flash movie or two before i take my long vacation.... new photos.... winter pix... party pix... nothing much to add recently... have not been taking pictures... i will be going snowboarding tomorrow and this coming thursday... hoping that the weather will be fine... will develop that roll of film this weekend... and get my camera fixed! i did mention about flash movies... didn't i... discovered this in the flash 5 samples folder... just want to share it with all of you... the mosquito killer! this morning... i got my snowboard back... with new boots... i got my snowboard repaired for free... actually what they did was just changing the strap of the bindings.... on the other hand... i got new boots... better than the one i had before... i am happy with the service i got... my parents sent me the vcd of in the mood of love.. together with all the new year goodies 2 weeks ago... last week.. i managed to watched it... it was so good... at least it was in cantonese.... tony leong was as good as ever... maggie chung was brilliant too... well... it is a wong kar wai movie.... i did watch a few other hong kong new releases... i simply love movies.... have to prepare for my french exams tomorrow....

18 feb 2001 last night... was at my friend's place... discussing what songs to jam... eventually.. we will be playing 2 deep purple songs... smoke on the water... mistreated.... we will be also playing 2 songs from a british band called thunder... i have never heard of their songs... but... i will try... and when i came back home late last night... i started practicing on the guitar... deep purple rocks ! tonight... i will probably get my snowboard back... and will get the binding fixed... so that i will be able to go snowboarding tomorrow! looking forward to snowboarding tomorrow.... another addition to the homepage links... my bmt and ocs tri-service buddy... sim kai... has got photos of this travels .... interesting...

6 feb 2001 had 2 exams yesterday... wonder how well did i perform.... as least i got to know that i passed for physics... what a relief.... the next exam will be on thursday... chemistry paper... today is the first day of the sapporo snow festival.... it is the major event in sapporo... seems like it started all the way back in 1950... and last year.. over 2 million visitors came just to see the sculptures... and also because of that... snowmobile land sapporo also gets more visitors... which means more work for me... well... i enjoy my work... so i am not complaining... anyway... later this evening... i will probably make my way down to see the snow sculptures... i will also be meeting 2 of my friends... we will be jamming away... hopefully we will get to play songs by deep purple and led zepplin... looking forward to playing the guitar in a band.... more and more of my friends are making homepages recently... and the latest addition... chisan!!!!!

4 feb 2001 so long since i last update my pages... i did not have the time to do anything.... had to prepare for my exams.... now... still in the midst of my exams.... have to struggle on for another 2 more weeks... my reward will be a long vacation... can't wait for the exams to be over.... my parents sent me stuff during the new year... and i was eating all the new year goodies.... how i wish i was back home.... enjoying the festive season.... i realized that i have not been doing what i really enjoy doing... like watching movies.... listening to music.... playing the guitar... i have been too busy... only one thing that i still do regularly... is to play soccer... at least i am keeping fit.... hope that i can go snowboarding in the near future... have to get my binding fixed first...
