| I had hoped to add some pictures, but I am not able to do that. I still have some good descriptions of mountain climbing and you can email me with questions. I am also a mountain guide so if you would like to climb one just let me know. I have climbed all the 14ers. The San Juans are my favorite group of mountains. Every day I can see Mt. Sneffels and Uncompaghre Peak from my home. I also climbed Windom, Eolus, North Eolus, and Sunlight in 2001. These mountains were great. I enjoyed climbing in the Elks the last couple of years. This year I climbed South Maroon Peak and North Maroon was my final 14er on July 27, 2001 Three years ago I climbed almost all of the Sawatch range. This group was one of my favorites. The mountains are all relatively easy to climb, though they are long and require a lot of elevation gain on most of them. On my trips around Colorado I found places that i really like. many of these places are near the Sawatch range. Buena Vista is a beautiful town, and I will probably spend more time there in the future. In the summer of 2002 I climbed Mt. Whitney. It was the high point of a very exciting vacation where we visited Las Vegas, Death Valley, and Reno. Back to home page |
