90% of all personal computers have to deal with adware, spyware, pop up ads, etc. If you are experiencing any of these difficulties, then by now you are probably keenly aware that the brand name software(s) don't work. Unfortunately, the software(s) that actually get the job done cost between $20 to $250. For example, I recently saw a version of Spybot on sale at an office supply store for a measly $79.99 (ha ha ha). How altruistic of them to place a product on sale for $79.99.......a product that anyone/ anywhere can get for free. Ok I'm only kidding. In actuality, this is my brother's son:
So imagine how excited I was to get my first personal computer...with internet access. It was wonderful.......until. Perplexed and dismayed, I told a friend of mine named Anthony, who happens to know an awful lot about computers. Anthony promptly informed me--without hesitation--that I (or rather my computer) was infected. I promptly informed him that he was wrong because I had already installed all of the best antivirus software(s) available, such as: Windows XP, Google Tool Bar, Norton Antivirus, & McAfee, and none of these brand named software(s)had ever informed me that my computer was infected. They would simply send reports that stated that certain files were at risk. (Under these brand name software domains, I remember at one point in time, I had over 80 files that were at risk.). Anthony began to laugh cynically as he shook his head from side to side. He then calmly stated, with a slight hint of humor in his voice, "Like I said before, you're infected." Well, to make a long story short I took his advise and promptly installed a few of the "quote unquote" underground antivirus software(s) that he had instructed me to install. It took less than one hour before I was pleasanty surprised. After months of frustration, my computer was once again running at peak efficiency. Since then, I've been absolutely amazed at all the hoopla surrounding this issue (tv ads, news reports, Congressional legislation, etc.). Folks, it's all much adieu about nothing. It's just a scam. If you don't believe me then go to Major Geeks.com Right Now and download your free version of Spyware Blaster. After which: Step 1. Go to the Download.com website. Step 2. Type Zone Alarm into the Download.com search engine. Then press Go. Step 3. Once on the next page proceed to scroll downward until you find three versions of Zone Alarm that are currently being offered. Two of these versions offer free trial periods with an option to buy after the duration of these trial periods. The third version has a free licence. That means that this version is totally free. I strongly recommend starting off with this version. Step 4: Click onto the blue letterings of whichever version of Zone Alarm you so choose to install. Step 5: On the next page you will see a caption in blue letters that says: Download Now. Click onto this icon. Step 6: Disregard the Security Warning that says: This file can potentially damage your computer. The reason they issue this warning is because Zone Alarm is not one of the brand name software(s). Now go ahead and press the Run button. Now all you have to do is to follow all of the ensuing set up prompts. Installation will take a few short minutes.
Don't pay $20 to $250 in order to eliminate these problems. The sun is now going down on computer scams and rip offs. Isn't it bad enough that we are already taxed (which is money down the drain when placed in the hands of our greedy Congress) for the essentials of life, such as: water, clothing, food, air (Opps!....my bad. They haven't gotten to that one yet.), automobiles, gasoline, electricity, personal income, etc. FOLKS DON'T BE SCAMMED ANY LONGER!
