Reading still sucks

God. I had to read the other day. It was so awful, it was. It's seriously so hard to concentrate when I'm reading. After about five minutes I start thinking about how awesome Mr. Welter is then after ten minutes of that I realize I have to read, then after about 20 seconds of reading I start thinking about why it's important to focus on reading instead of thinking about other things while I read. It's vicious, it is.

What God is trying to tell me is that there are so many more interesting things to do than read. Things like....anything. That's what I do as an alternative to reading. I start looking at the pattern of the ceiling or looking at myself in the mirror. Man, looking at myself in the mirror is so awesome; I should do it right now. Anyway, I think the fact that I start a book with a pissed off "this book sucks even though I don't know anything about it" attitude has something to do with this.

Don't worry though. I gave up shortly after and listened to some good, solid, american-made Paul McCartney. God he's so damn awesome. He made an entire album by himself on his farm. That's the most badass thing ever. I can just picture him in this huge recording studio with all sorts of equipment everywhere and he's all by himself for like a year. And he has to be having a really good time and skipping and giggling and stuff and saying to himself "THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST ALBUM EVEEERRRRRR!!!! YIPPIE!!" God that'd rule. I bet that's what he did.

I'd also like to say for the record that Scissor Sisters are really shitty.
