Ashanti, Eminem, Nelly Lead American Music Awards Nominees 
Ashanti, Eminem and Nelly lead the list of nominees for the 30th annual American Music Awards, organizers announced Tuesday.

Murder Inc.'s rising new star will vie for five trophies Favorite New Artist and Favorite Album in the Pop/Rock and Hip-Hop/R&B categories and Favorite Hip-Hop/R&B Female on January 13 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Eminem and Nelly will compete against each other for four awards in the Favorite Male and Favorite Album in the Pop/Rock and Hip-Hop/R&B categories.

Nelly Kicks It In 'Air Force Ones' Video
When you live in Nellyville, everywhere you go is a party. Especially if you're engaging in one of your favorite pastimes: copping Uptowns. Nelly and his crew, the St. Lunatics, recently shot the video for the song that big-ups their favorite kind of kicks, "Air Force Ones."

Directed by David Palmer on November 5 and 6 in St. Louis, the clip finds the 'Tics visiting a shoe store to get sneakers. Things get hectic when the locals flood the establishment to get a glimpse of their beloved native sons. Somebody gets the bright idea to add speakers, a DJ and turntables to the mix, turning the store into a makeshift club.
