Nellie was born in New York, New York, on July 13, 1981.  Her family (parents and older brother) lived in lower Manhattan, before moving to Queens, and then finally, The Bronx.  She attended Cardinal Spellman High School, before going on to SUNY Stonybrook, where she majored in Physical Therapy.  Realizing that this was not her thing, she transferred to Hofstra University where she found her niche, academically and socially.   

After graduation, she moved back to New York City, with the hope of breaking into TV production.  Her ultimate goal is to be a producer for TV.

Some of her favorite things include, The LOTR Trilogy, Shrek, Fight Club, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Frasier, and The NY Yankees.  Nellie enjoys jogging, reading, watching TV and going to the movies, traveling, volunteering for animal care and adoption, going to the beach and listening to music (anything but country and hard core metal.)
