You must include a copy of the llamas' ILR registrationEach animal must be accompanied with a Health Certificate that identifies the animal by official ear tag, tattoo,
electronic identification or registration papers. Nebraska or Out of State Certificate of Veterinary Inspection must be issued within 30 days prior to show.
Exhibitors must be the registered owners and make
entry in the exact names (owner and animal) as shown on the registration certificate.
All llamas entered in approved classes, with the exception of youth classes, must be registered or have passed screening
with the International Lama Registry, (ILR) or the Canadian Livestock Record Corporation (CLRC). If non-breeders are not registered and wish to be in the ALSA award system and wish to show in halter, they must show in the
adult nonbreeder halter class.
Non-breeder llamas must be accompanied by a registration or veterinarian certificate verifying the animal is a gelding, a vasectomized male, or a spayed or non-reproductive female.
Nursing llama mothers may not be accompanied in the ring by their babies. ALSA recommends not showing nursing mothers.
Llamas may not be moved from one class to another after halter
judging has begun, except at the judge's decision.
Llamas entered in performance classes may only be shown in Youth or Open. Only one llama per Youth will be permitted.
It is understood that
Nebraska Llama Association, it's Officers, Board, members and the ALSA shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any person, animal or property which is caused directly or indirectly by any reason. The
undersigned also agrees to hold harmless the Nebraska Llama Association for any expenses, or liabilities including attorney or legal fees.
