took a train down to Yufuin from Fukuoka in the early afternoon. Didn't managed to sleep coz was too attracted by the scenery... hm... Yufuin is country-side... so everywhere's beautiful...

Moment I stepped outta the train, the breeze was enough to make me love the place... its so... relaxing... by the time I was outta the station... geee... I like... the scenery... train station faces the mountain.. which is 1531ft ... the whole place is sooo... country-side.. hah..

The Ryokan - (Jap style hotel) which we stay in is one of the biggest in Yufuin.. but no matter how busy the hostess was... she would find time to show us to the room... introduce us to the Ryokan... hm.. very warm and nice... plus she's pretty... and young! =) scenery outside our window... hm... mountains and rivers.. simply gorgeous... had a relaxing shower in the open air spring bath... hm... nice!

was kinda overwhelmed by their hospitality... stupid us brought our big towels into the Spring bath and then thought that we would be given new ones in our room... but in fact we're suppose to use that the whole day... so after we realised our stupidity, we ran back in to get our towels... but the great thing is... the hostess and host came running to us with big towels~ they didn't have to really... it was really... nice...

took a short walk round the small little town...

shops close at 6

so we didn't have much to see...

by 7 we're having our buffet dinner...

yum

the food is... good!

ate until my stomach couldn't take it anymore... plus brother and I had buffet ice-cream... heh... yum yum

WE GOT TO PLAY WITH FIREWORKS!!!!

WAHAAHHAAH

yes the great thing bout Japan is fireworks are not banned! hahahahah~

it was beautiful... and exciting! watching some shoot to the sky.. and everywhere else.. hahaha...

scared the dog in the neighbourhood though.. heh..

went back to the hotel.. and listened to this Mr Babe and Miaya sing and play the piano!!! yes he's name is babe... haha.. weird huh? and he sings damn well! oh yes.. Miaya sings damn well too! they're from the Philippines... found out later that Miaya's from the same down as Rora! hahah! oh yes.. they've spent a few years in Singapore.. playing in Shangri-la.... the Star Cruise... Sun cruise.. he's really good! *impressed* he's very friendly... coz he realised that we're from Small little Island.. and he misses the place.. so yeah... hit on quite well... =)

before we went to bed.. played nintendo in the room... haha... I suck at it..

slept around 11 ... on lovely Tatami.. with thick and cosy blanket... =)

I like this town...
