Karseron is a Death Metal band from �vora that nevertheless incorporates a lot of Black Metal elements in its music. It all began in 1992, when drummer Rui Frade joined guitar player/ vocalist Gualter Charrua. A year later Cust�dio Rato joined the band as bass player. This line-up recorded several promo tracks and released in late '96 the demo-tape �Satanic Rest (The Dreams Of The Dead)�. In the end of the same year, Nelson Coelho joined the band as guitar player. Playing live throughout Portugal the following years and witnessing the coming and going of several keyboard players, in the Summer of '97 the four-piece band recorded the �Frozen Tears� promo, released only in late '98. Then, due to the lack of a permanent rehearsal place, the band was on hold for a year. In the new millennium, the band welcomed  M�rio Silva as their new lead vocalist and also found a permanent keyboard player, Pedro Costa. In 2002, Rui Frade and Nelson Coelho chose to leave the band for personal reasons. The last rehearsal (August'02) was recorded as a celebration of the first ten years, and released as a CD-r under the name �Ten Years of Punishment�. The band found replacement to the departed members in Jacinto Pinheiro (guitar) and Gon�alo Correia (drums). With this new line-up they opened the Portuguese date of the "Doomination of Europe" Tour (Feb 03), along with Morgion (US), Mourning Beloved (UK) and The Prophecy (Ire). On the 5th of May the band started to record what is to be their debut album, and after almost 3 months of recordings, finished the mixing in November. Nowadays the band is looking for a label to release the album and preparing to unleash chaos with their live performances.
