IH started in 1996 by an Alliance of Cultus Profanus, Arcanus and Impius. Today Mortiferus joined the battlefield to fight side by side with us.
It was necessary to expulse from my inside all this negative deadly feelings I have...so IH was created. IH is what we are� what we feel!
It wasn't hard because the brothers that I talked about are the ones, the right ones to play on IH.
What precisely is your connection to Hell War Productions? This label is very active and releases a lot of Underground extreme Black Metal. Any chance for future releases in formats other than tape?

I know you are now beginning to play live. Tell me more about this. What do you expect from your live experiences?
Until now we have perpetrated just 2 live massacres, with Hellbastards and Inferivm, and the other with InThyFlesh and Acceptus Noctifer.
Noise, anti humanistic actions, extreme, raw and brutal shows. However don't expect to see IH live everywhere with everyone... that will not happen. Only few restricted gigs will be done.
I believe there isn't an Inner Helvete website (or Hell War productions for that matter). Is there any particular reason for this?
No, there's not a website from our band/label. I'm not really interested in that...
However Impius is working on 1 for IH, but don't know if it will be put online� if yes it will contain just few infos (the necessary ones)
One thing I like in a band is the attempt to create a personal sound. Inner Helvete's very brutal sound is matched with vocals I find atypical for Black Metal (more akin perhaps to Grind grunts). But your later material shows further developments in your sound. Where do you see this evolution going?
I think IH are getting a normal EVILution through the years, but the roots have been always the same... Satanic Black/Death Metal!
What reactions have you been having to your numerous releases, particularly the LP 'Total Bloodshedding Devastation'?
Great ones, and shitty ones. Great ones from the guys that I wanted to hear good reactions

Shitty ones from almost all Portuguese metal scene (?!?!), but from these ones I piss off in all of them... However here in Portugal there's others that also support us strongly, and for those we'll continue to destroy the minds of all bastards!

I just talk about the ones I like, I support, and I trust! The rest... are rests! We hail: InThyFlesh, Acceptus Noctifer, Helbastards, Corpus Christii, Morte Incandescente, Flagellum Dei, Onirik, Sterkvind, Vorago, War Blasphemy, Black Howling, Forsaken Art....
What releases, etc. are planned for the immediate future? Any gigs around the country?
A split tape with NOCTURNAL VOMIT from Greece and a split Lp with BESATT + MISANTHROPY + ARMAGGEDON.
Maybe a gig in Castelo Branco in May, and maybe another one with InThyFlesh somewhere in this year... and for gigs that's enough for now.
