Formed in 1995 by vocalist Bruno Fernandes, Firstborn Evil soon began getting Underground attention, mainly due to their participation in "Southern Assault vol. 1", a compilation-CD released by Guardians of Metal. It was followed, in 1996, by the 'The awakening of evil' demo-tape. In 1998 Guardians of Metal released Firstborn Evil�s debut CD, 'Rebirth of evil', a powerful Black Metal record. After several live performances, time was ripe to prepare the second full-length, which would be released under the band's new name: The Firstborn.
