Blood Quest were a Black Metal band formed in 1995 that achieved some notoriety in the Portuguese Underground with their demo �The Spell of the Ancient Flame�, released in 1996 (the same year they were featured in the �Southern Assault vol. I� compilation with the track �Black Lust�). By then their line-up was Demonecromighty (vocals), Hellraiser (a.k.a. Endovelico) (guitars), F. (guitars), Teutates (keyboards), Abigor (a.k.a David "Frog") (drums), Moloc (bass). Later F. left, being replaced by Abladon, and later still Demonecromighty also left, being replaced by Bellicus. The band broke up in 1999, after recording that same year a full-length album that remains unreleased to this day.
