This club was founded in Fall 2003 by a couple of senators in the Merced College Associated Students just for fun! Now we are still continuing our journey to gather all Anime and Manga Fans at Merced College. We hope that this year is as great as the last one!

Member Privileges

These are the privileges for official and active members of the club.

Official Members: Attends ¾ of club meetings per quarter, has a minimum of 25 points per semester and has an ASMC sticker.

Active Members: Attends less than ½ of club meetings per school year quarter, has a minimum of 10 points per semester.

May vote at club meetings
May earn points at club events, community service, etc.
May go on trips designed for club members only
May earn special gifts
May earn random special gifts
May use the club library
May have a club t-shirt
Receives official club ID card

ACTIVE

May earn points at club events or from community service, etc.
May have a club t-shirt. (Must have at least 15 points minimum)

Our club is all about learning about the Japanese culture, learning about the careers related to animation and art and getting to know just what anime is and how it started.

~Goals~

Attend Anime Expo every year to enhance student knowledge of animation and careers in art.
Attend culture events to enhance multicultural abilities.
Raise money for scholarships for Merced County residents.
Raise money for member benefits. (Luncheons, Anime Library, etc.
