"Daddy, I told you you don't have to do this." Pan whined as her father drove her to her school.

"It's your senior concert, I want to." He defended.

Gohan was driving Pan to the winter festival where she played a flute solo with Bra accompanying.

"But do you all have to come? I can just see it now! You and Bulma in the front row, taking pictures and holding up signs... kami, please don't." She shook her head.

"I won't hold up any signs." He promised, laughing and taking his hands off the stearing wheel for a second.

"Dad, hands on the wheel." Pan commanded.

He gave a goofy Son grin and looked back to the road. "But I will be taking pictures."

"If you take pictures, I won't be able to see the notes, dad." She pointed out.

"So I won't use flash." He shrugged.

Pan sighed in exasperation and gave up. "Will grandma be there too?"

"Yes." Gohan nodded. "Too bad dad can't see this; I know he loved to hear you play."

Pan nodded in agreement. "Strange thing, really. He likes classical music and I play it... both of us fighters. That's pretty much the least expected thing."

"Well, I don't know that he particularly liked classical music, but he sure did like to hear you play it. And as for being fighters, I'm a teacher... which is strange considering what life was like when I was a kid." He thought back momentarily to being on Namek, the fight against Garlic Jr., Androids, Cell... the first time he'd lost his father... because of his own stupidity. He sighed and shrugged the thoughts of; this was Pan's big night!

"Yup, aren't you old?" Pan laughed at his expression. "You're a nerd too. An old nerd..." She giggled.

"I'm not a nerd!" He protested.

"Sure you are." Pan grinned.

"Care to explain?" He asked.

"What are the glasses for?" She asked. "I know you don't need them. Saiyans see and hear better than humans ever could, even I know that and I'm only a fourth."

"Mom picked these out." He said under his breath.

"Hearing too, dad." She grabbed his glasses and examined them, 'tsk'ing, she folded them and put them on the dashboard. "Grandma may be nice, but she doesn't have the best fashion sense."

Gohan briefly glanced to his daughter before looking back to the road. She really had a good point. He didn't need the glasses, infact he probably saw better without them, but he looks too young and... hansome... with them on. And if your students think you're good looking they'll be too busy looking at you instead of listening to you.

"You should stop trying to be so nerdy." Pan reprimanded from a female standpoint. "Listen, dad. I've seen those pictures from Orange Star's old yearbooks. You wore some... I dunno, geek clothes. Now I can understand trying to hide all your muscles and such, but you can do that in a t-shirt and jeans."

"You saw me in the yearbooks?" He paled considerably.

Pan giggled. "Yup, you got honors in... EVERYTHING. Excluding sports, which puzzles me. Surely you were athlectic at things besides fighting, Bra and I certainly are and Goten and Trunks rule at football... so what's your excuse?"

"Well, I didn't really have time between being Great Saiyaman and your mother." He explained.

Pan snorted. "Mom played sports. Speaking of which, whatever happen to those two kids you were always hanging out with.. what were thier names... the blonde ones."

He shrugged. "Haven't seen them since we graduated." His eyes widened. "Hey, how'd you know about them?"

"Yearbook pictures!" She smiled happily. "I found Goten and Trunks in there too... Marron and even Uub."

"I didn't know Uub went to Orange Star." He stated.

"Yeah, they live right around here." Pan pointed to the houses they were driving by. "Somewhere at least. Anyway, is mom going to be there?"

"Unless we have to go Saiyaman." He sighed. "Then she'll take over."

"Ah, okay." She nodded. "Dad, I still wonder what you were smokin' when you came up with that name."

"Nani!?" He turned and nearly crashed the car.

Pan laughed and shook her head. "Come on, 'Great Saiyaman'? Batman is a cool name, even Superman is okay, but Saiyaman? I get the Saiya part just fine, but the name and the posing... dad, sometimes I'm glad you have an alias."

Gohan sweatdropped and looked back to the road. "I was only seventeen."

"I'm eighteen." She shrugged. "And I know it's lame... but at least you're doing your best. You could definatly be alot more lame. How many kids can say that thier dad saved not only Earth, but fought on other planets.. and is from another planet... partially at least."

"I'm not lame." He protested weakly.

"Oh well, you're still pretty cool. Hey, even Vegeta likes you, although he'd NEVER admit it. Infact, if he even suspected that you knew he liked you, he'd stop!" She grinned at the thought. "Vegeta will be there, right?"

"I guess so." Gohan shrugged mildly. "Bra's playing, he'll probably show."

Pan nodded and looked back to the road.

"Why do you ask?" He inquired.

"I sort of owe him a spar, I cut ours short the other day for a... date." She explained sheepishly.

"And just when was I going to find out about this?" Gohan asked incredulously.

"We just went out for coffee. We went to Marron's place anyway, she'll tell you." Pan blushed slightly and shrugged.

"Who is this guy, anyway? Do I need to beat him up or was it a first date?" He asked semi-playfully.

"Dad! Don't beat him up, it was just a date!" Pan laughed. "His name is James, his a basketball player.. couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag, but he's nice."

"He better be." Gohan muttered. "Will he be there?"

"Maybe. Dad, we're not even exclusive, it was juuust a date." She sighed and shook her head. "I shouldn't have told you."

"No, I'm sorry, honey. I'm just overprotective." He sighed heavily. "I'll be good." He grinned another Son grin. "Or at least, I'll try."

"All right, thanks." She patted his shoulder. "And don't worry, I'm a big girl."

"Now I know how Krillin and Vegeta felt and feel." Gohan groaned.

Pan laughed again. "But at least Marron ended up with Uub, he's a good guy. And Bra and Goten are going out-"

"What?" He turned to her again.

"You didn't know that!?" She asked incredulously. "I'd have figured Goten would at least tell you. You are his brother."

"He didn't tell me. Oh man, Goten's dead if Vegeta finds out." Gohan shook his head in disbelief. "Poor guy. But BRA? Is that wise? She's only seventeen."

"Eh, big whoop, so she's eight years younger than him, Trunks is eleven years older than me and-oops, guess you didn't hear about THAT." She covered her own mouth.

Gohan almost hit the breaks. "NANI!?"

"A few weeks ago we were sparring and then he tickled me.. kissed me... and took me to his bedroom. But.." She cringed and waited for him to rant and rave and throw a huge hissy fit.

Gohan stopped the car and turned to his daughter who was recoiling slightly. "But?"

"But somehow Juunana-gou heard me and he stopped." She explained. "That's why Trunks and I ran into David... he was taking me out for ice cream to appologize and then on the way out he ran him over."

Gohan took a deep breath and nodded, starting the car again.

"You're not going to kill Trunks, are you?" She asked uncertainly.

His eye twitched slightly and he slowly shook his head.

Pan sighed. "There's the school." She pointed out. "Finally." That had been just about the longest trip to school she'd ever taken.

***

"Pan! Finally, I thought you'd be late!" One of her friends yelled and came over. It was only four in the afternoon and just starting to get dark. Usually she'd have stayed after, but since it was a half day, she and Goten had taken Bra and Juunana-gou to a movie.

"Hey Chris." She greeted her friend.

"Who's the guy? I thought you were going with James." Chris pointed out.

"Nani? This is my dad." Pan laughed at her father's expression. "He's just not wearing the glasses that he doesn't need anyway."

"Your dad!?" She gaped. "But... he's a teacher... HERE! How.. how... damn." She finally decided. "Double damn."

Pan giggled at Gohan's expression. It was too funny; he looked shocked and embarrassed.

"This is why I wear the glasses, Pan." He informed.

"Why, cuz it makes mom jealous to see girls half your age hang all over you? Look on the bright side, if she's jealous, she'll try harder to make you happy." Pan winked.

"Damn, Pan. You're dad is HOT!" She whispered to her friend. "How old is he anyway? He looks about nineteen, but he's gotta be at least thirty five -- and that's pushing it -- for you to be eighteen."

"I dunno." She shrugged. "Forty something."

Chris nearly face-faulted. "Forty?!"

"I'm only thirty-six, thank you." He said.

"Yeah, he's in the yearbook." She laughed.

::Guess it's those Saiyan genes, eh, dad?:: Pan asked telepathically.

"Guess so.:: He grinned outwardly. ::I'm gonna get my glasses.::

"If you do, I'll break them, Daddy." Pan said out loud.

Chris looked between the two in confusion.

"This is way too much fun to miss out on." Pan winked again before walking off with Chris.

Gohan shrugged and walked into the auditorium to peek around here and there and talk to other parents. He realized, not without a certain amount of amusement, that he looked about the age of the kids there. Gohan wondered absently what people would think of how old he really was.

"Ahem." A woman cleared her throat from behind. "Excuse me. You look really, really familiar. I'm probably wrong, you look too young to be who I think you are, probably his son." She choked back a laugh at that thought.

Gohan turned around and nearly fell over. "Arasa!"

"Gohan?" She asked uncertainly.

He nodded enthuiastically and gave her a hug.

"Man, it's been a long time." She said against his neck. "It's good to see you."

"Yeah, how have you been?" He asked, letting her go.

"Pretty good." She smiled. "God, Gohan. You look great. You look exactly the same as you did in highschool. What'd you do, find the fountain of youth?" She took hold of his hands.

Gohan laughed and shook his head. "I guess it runs in the family."

"You touching my girl?" A guy asked from behind.

Gohan looked down and noticed he was holding Arasa's hands and blushed, turning around and rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

"Good Lord!" The guy exclaimed.

"Nani?" Gohan blinked.

"Gohan!" He exclaimed again.

"Sharpner?" Gohan asked. "Sharpner!"

"It's been a while." Sharpner said seriously. "And you touched my girl."

"Huh?" Gohan looked back to Arasa. "For real?"

"No one touches my girl." He looked about ready to punch him, but instead of drawing back a fist he hugged him. "Damn, Gohan. How long's it been?"

"Oh, I'd estimate along the lines of eighteen years." He almost laughed at the irony of it. He and Videl had married right out of highschool and Pan was concieved on thier wedding night, or somewhere around there. "How have you been?"

"Great." Sharpner slapped Gohan on the back. "Pam's here tonight."

"Pam?" Gohan asked.

"Our daughter." Arasa said.

"You had a daughter named Pam?" Gohan stifled a laugh.

"Dad!" Pan came running up. "We're gonna go across the street and grab a bite to eat."

"Gohan-san, could you tell my parents where I went?" Bra asked. "Dad tends to get... edgy... when he doesn't know where I am."

"Sure thing, Bra-chan." Gohan answered. "I need to talk to Vegeta and Bulma anyway."

"Thanks." Bra gave him a hug. "And Gohan."

"Yeah?" He asked.

"You look good without the glasses." Bra grinned before grabbing Pan's hand and dashing off.

"You have a daughter?!" They both asked incredulously.

"What?" He looked at his old friends. "Come on, you didn't expect me to stay single my whole life, did you? I married almost right out of highschool."

"You're kidding! Who?" Arasa asked in stun.

"You'll never believe me." Gohan laughed.

"Gohan, I just saw-" Videl was cut off. "Kami."

"Hey, Videl-chan." Gohan grinned and kissed her.

"What was that for?" She asked. Gohan almost never kissed her in public.

"Videl!" Sharpner and Arasa yelled. "You and GOHAN!?"

Videl shrugged. "He's not as big a nerd as he pretended to be." She unbottoned the first few buttons of his shirt.

"Videl-chan?" Gohan asked. "What are you doing?"

"Just showing them." She got angry with the buttons and ripped the rest of the shirt open to reveal his rock hard chest and washboard stomach.

"Nice six-pack." Arasa said in awe. "You train him or something?"

"Nani?!" Gohan almost shrieked. "First off, you ruined my favorite shirt. Mom's gonna have a fit. Second, Videl did NOT train me. I've looked like this since long before Orange Star."

"Maybe we should tell them." Videl suggested. "They were our best friends in highschool."

Gohan nodded slowly and glanced at his watch.

"I guess, but what were you saying in the first place?" Gohan asked.

"I saw Bra and Pan on the way out, I was just wondering where they were headed." Videl shrugged.

"Getting some food." Gohan explained. "Well, we have to be back here for them, so we have to do this fast. Follow me, I'll take you to my old landing spot."

"Landing spot?" The couple asked.

"Trust us on this one." Videl grabbed Arasa and Gohan took hold of Sharpner's arm and dragged them up the stairs and to the roof.

***

"What's with all the secrecy?" Arasa asked.

"Do you remember in highschool when the golden warrior showed up?" Gohan started.

Sharpner seemed to think back for a few seconds before nodding. "Yeah, so?"

"And do you remember when Great Saiyaman showed up?" Videl asked.

"Of course, who could forget Saiyaman?" Arasa piped.

"Let me show you something." Gohan gritted his teeth and powered up to Super Saiyan. "Say hello to the golden warrior."

"And Super Saiyaman." Videl pressed the button on his watch and he dropped from Super Saiyan as the Saiyaman outfit formed around him.

"You're kidding me." Sharpner asked, dumbfounnded.

"Ooh, that's not the best part." Videl pressed the button on her watch. "I'm one too."

"But... Great Saiyaman can fly... he's Super human!" Arasa exclaimed.

Gohan hit the button again, detransforming, and then levitated a few inches, floating over the edge of the building and back.

"That's because he's not human." Videl responded, transforming back to her regular clothes. "He's half Saiyan; his father was a full Saiyan. It's an alien race with extraordinary power. There is only one full-blooded left alive."

"Who's that?" Arasa asked.

"Bra's father." Gohan answered. "Vegeta."

"That would make Bra half too... Bra Briefs... as in Bulma Briefs' daughter!" Sharpner's eyes widened in understanding. "And Trunks too."

Gohan and Videl nodded. "Let me ask you something." Arasa started. "You can do that blonde thingy... now I remember on the Cell games... I was only eleven, so I could be wrong, but..."

"That was me." Gohan conceded. "The older one was my father. The one with purple hair was Trunks... not that one, although same parents. And the short guy with black hair and the armor was Vegeta."

"Your father didn't really beat Cell, did he?" Sharpner asked.

Videl shook her head. "Or Buu."

"So who did?" Arasa asked. "Cell I mean."

"That would be me." Gohan sighed. "Now you can see why I had the alias. I couldn't be a normal kid if everyone knew I had defeated Cell when I was only-"

"Eleven." Sharpner finished. "Man, why didn't you tell us?"

"I couldn't." He shook his head. "I was still ashamed that I'd gotten my father killed over it. I didn't want anyone else to know."

"Gotten your father killed?" She asked.

"It's a long story; you may want to sit down." Videl motioned toward the ledge.

Sharpner and Arasa nodded and sat down.

"It all started when I was four..." Gohan started his story.

***

"My gosh, you've been through more in the first six years of your life than most people even dream about." Arasa said.

"You just let us call you a nerd?" Sharpner asked.

"I kinda was." He shrugged. "My mom kept my nose in the books pretty thorougly. Remember that even though my dad fought, my mom hadn't let me learn at all. I spent the first four years of my life studying, I could to algebra by the time Piccolo got me!"

"Man, no wonder you were in all honors." Sharpner ran a hand through is blonde (but now short) hair.

"So Bra's what you are, right?" Arasa asked.

"Yeah." Videl nodded. "Since Bulma's a human, Bra's only half like Gohan and Goten."

"I'll bet your daughter is one hell of a fighter." Sharpner pointed out.

"Dad!" Pan called from the ground with Bra. "What are you doing?"

"Talking to some old friends!" Gohan called back.

"Hey, you were in the yearbook!" Bra yelled.

"You can come up, we told them." Videl said.

Bra and Pan glanced at eachother and around before floating up to the roof. "I'm Son Pan."

"Bra Briefs." She introduced.

"She looks just like anyone else." Arasa observed. "Both of them."

"Nani?" Bra asked.

"We told them EVERYTHING." Gohan hinted.

"Oh." Bra shrunk back a bit. "You sure that was a good idea, Gohan-san?"

"Don't worry, they won't tell. Will you, sharpner?" Gohan asked, nudging him in the ribs.

He seemed lost in thought, he looked up, snapped his fingers and the took Gohan's shoulders, shaking the man lightly. "That's how you did it!"

"Did what?" Gohan asked in confusion.

"The baseball game!" Sharpner yelled. "You caught the fly ball. That ball was at least twenty feet in the air. There was no way you could have caught that... if you were human."

"Saiyan's aren't the only ones who can fly." Bra pointed out.

"Speaking of which, here come a few now." Pan pointed down and leaned over the edge. She grinned and tossed herself off--

--and landed right in Uub's arms.

"Hi, Uub-san." She kissed him on the cheek and hopped from his arms. "Come up to the roof, we're having a reunion."

Marron shrugged and took off quickly (she was wearing a skirt), carrying her new baby with her. Uub looked to the roof and back to Pan before following his wife. Pan waved Krillin and Juuhachi-gou over before taking off herself.

"This is an android?" Sharpner asked, walking around Juuhachi-gou.

"Cyborg." She corrected. "Or jinzouningen."

"What's the baby's name?" Arasa asked Marron.

"Her name's Kastanie." Marron said.

"Chestnut." Gohan grinned. "Should have known."

"How'd you know that?" Marron asked.

"I speak a few languages." Gohan shrugged.

"We should get in and get some seats." Krillin pointed out.

Juuhachi-gou nodded and the two walked down the stairs.

"We should get in too. We've got to get a seat near the back." She nodded at the baby. "Just in case."

Gohan nodded.

"Nice to meet you." She said as she and Uub walked down the stairs, following her parents, and disappeared into the school.

"Wonder why your parents aren't here." Pan said absently to Bra.

"They're... sparring." Bra blushed.

"Sparring?" Arasa asked.

"Close combat." She hinted.

Arasa and Sharpner still looked confused.

"For kami's sake, they're having sex!" Pan blurted.

"Sure isn't shy about it." Arasa couldn't hide her amusement. "And this is YOUR daughter, Gohan."

"I can't be." Pan said quickly. "Dad, I'm gonna go warm up, I'll see you later." Bra and Pan both left.

"What did she mean?" Sharpner asked. "And why did she sound so sad?"

"Pan was." Gohan trailed off, closing his eyes and tipping his head back, the wind whipping around his face. "A few weeks ago, Pan was raped."

"God, I'm so sorry." Arasa covered her mouth.

"I'm sorry, man." Sharpner placed a hand on his old friends shoulder.

Gohan shook his head. "Everything's ok now. That was during summer break. She's even friends with the guy now, sort of at least. Pan doesn't hold a grudge."

"Friends!?" They both exclaimed.

"He was drunk." Gohan and Videl said together.

"Oh." They both nodded.

"Well, we should get in." Videl decided. "I'll see you later, keep in touch this time!" She leapt off the roof. "I love doing that!" She called.

Gohan shrugged and followed.

Sharpner and Arasa hugged eachother close for a minute before entering the school.

***

Pan and Bra finally walked onto the stage, the room became hushed. They were the very first performers up. Bra had picked out the clothes and done Pan's hair; Pan wasn't exactly a primping kind of girl.

Pan was wearing a purple button-down blouse and a knee-length black skirt.

::The skirt's kind of like the one I was wearing when... no! I won't think about that, tonight is MY night.:: She thought detirmedly.

Bra was wearing an aqua dress with short sleeves, the hem falling just above the knee. The blue-haired girl sat down at the grand piano and Pan took a spot in front of the microphone, holding the shiny flute.

Pan slowly brought the silver instrument to her lips and inhaled deeply, finally releasing air through her pursed lips. Sweet melody filled the room as the slow notes quickened, becoming happy and vibrant, carrying the audience with the feeling. Bra's playing joined the sweet clear sound of the flute and the sounds captivated the room. The song ended on a beautiful high A, the piano playing a few quick high notes with that last of her note.

When they were finished with the piece, several people clapped immediatly, a few more following, and soon the whole room was roaring with cheers and claps; begging for an encore.

Bra looked over to her music teacher who was wiping a tear from her eye and nodding.

::Let's do number four.:: Pan sent. ::It's pretty short.::

Pan began to play slowly, quieting the audience with the quiet music. The notes were slow and deliberate, Bra played several low notes in slow sync with Pan's. The rythem soon quickened, reaching a delicate climax before letting down and ending slowly; careful and patient notes drew the song to an end.

Bra stood up and walked over to Pan, looking at the crowd and smiling brightly.

::Now.:: They both bowed together and then walked offstage, Pan following her friend.

"Now that was a performance." Arasa said to Gohan.

Gohan smiled and watched his daughter and her friend exit the stage.

***

The next few performances were of various instruments and voices, followed by a few choir pieces, and finally a freshman with blonde hair and hazel eyes stepped onto the stage.

She sang an old Japanese song, producing every not with as much passion and feeling as she could muster. When she was done, she exited the stage, despite the cheers for encore, and sighed in relief against the back stage wall.

"Hi, I'm Pan." The girl introduced.

"Bra Briefs." Bra did likewise.

"Pam." She smiled shyly up at the two, who she'd recognized as seniors.

"Great performance." Pan said. "You have a beautiful voice."

"Thank you." She said quietly.

"Our parents are old friends from highschool." Pan explained.

"I'm just a friend of Pan and her family." Bra said.

"Bra Briefs, as in THE Bra Briefs?" She looked up.

Bra nodded and shrugged.

"Speaking of Briefs. Dad's here." Bra looked behind Pan. "Daddy!"

Vegeta caught his daughter and held her around the shoulders.

"How was it, did it sound okay?" She asked.

He smiled and nodded.

::It was excellent, princess.:: He replied mentally.

Bra smiled. "I want you to meet someone." She pulled her father over to where Pan and Pam where. "This is Pam. She's.. this is complicated... Pan's dad's friend's daughter." She sighed and wiped her forehead. "Gohan's old friends from highschool."

Vegeta nodded.

Pam glanced up at his eyes, but quickly looked back to the floor, terribly shy around new people.

"Don't let Vegeta-san intimidate you. He's not as much of a jackass as he pretends to be. You don't really have a stick jammed up your ass, do you, Vegeta-san?" Pan grinned.

Vegeta grunted.

"Normal around normal people, daddy." Bra reprimanded. "Don't want you making those noises you learned on Vegeta-sei or Frieza's ship."

"Pam!" A voice called.

"Over here, dad!" She replied.

Sharpner came up and stood beside his daughter. "This is Vegeta." Pan introduced. "Vegeta, this is Sharpner, Pam's father."

"The alien?" Sharpner asked.

"Nani?" Vegeta looked thoroughly surprised.

"Gohan told us." He shrugged.

Pan and Bra edged off with Pam.

"The brat." Vegeta smirked.

"The brat." He repeated.

"Yes, I knew Gohan since he was four... maybe five.. I'll always see him as Kakarrot's brat." Vegeta explained. "We weren't alway allies you know."

"Yeah, I know." He nodded. "So, you're not going to like... exterminate all life on Earth or something, right?"

"He told you about the dragonballs, right?" Vegeta continued at his nod. "If I were going to destroy it, I wouldn't have died protecting it."

Sharpner nodded.

***

"You're a really good singer, too bad your so shy." Pan rambled on, not looking where she was going and ran into something.. or someone. "I'm sorry, are you all right?"

"I'm fine." The girl sat up off the floor. Pan helped her to her feet.

"Sorry." She grinned sheepishly. "Wasn't paying attention."

She shook her head. "Hey, you're the flutist!" She exclaimed. "I wish I could play like you! It was sooo good!" She said enthusiastically.

"Do you go to Orange Star?" Bra inquired.

"Yup, I'm a junior. Some of my art's on the display." She said.

"Can you show us?" Pan asked.

"No no, it's not very good." She shook her head.

"I'm sure it's beautiful, come on, let's see it." Bra urged.

"Well... all right." She conceded.

"What's your name?" Pam asked.

"Melissa." She started. "Birdrim."

"Say that again." Pan stopped walking.

"Melissa." She repeated.

"The other part." Pan urged.

"Birdrim." She said again.

"Couldn't be.. just must be a coincidence." She said to herself.

"What's a coincidence?" Melissa asked.

"Nothing." Pan shook her head. "You were gonna show us that art of yours."

The four headed off for the art exhibit.

***

"Kami, this is gorgeous." Bra ran her hand over the painting. The picture was of a young child reaching out for a snowflake, flittering in the breeze, it was just out of reach.

"Where'd you learn to paint like this?" Pan asked in wonderment.

"Just picked it up." She glanced at her watch. "I've gotta go, my uncle's looking for me."

"Are your parents here, too?" Pam asked.

"No." She looked down sadly. "They died in a plane crash a few weeks ago."

"Kami, I'm sorry." Pan said.

Bra placed a comforting hand on the younger girl's shoulder. "I'm sorry, sweetie. If you need ever need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to call us."

Melissa nodded and hugged Bra and then Pan. "It's good to know there are still people out there who care."

"Mel!" A voice called.

"Couldn't be, no freaking way!" Pan let go of the girl. "I knew it.. I KNEW it!"

"Pan." David said in surprise.

"Uncle David." Mel wiped her eyes and smiled warmly.

"I KNEW it." Pan's eye twitched. "See, I told you we'd see eachother again."

Bra stifled a laugh. Pan looked almost angry, David looked surprised, Melissa and Pam looked just as confused as any normal person would.

"How do you know eachother?" Melissa asked suddenly.

::Should we tell her?:: Bra sent to both of them.

::Not here, if anywhere.:: Pan returned.

David shook his head. ::She's only fourteen.::

::I knew when I was fourteen.:: Pan said. ::If it were me, I'd want to know.::

Bra nodded in agreement.

::All right, but I'm not doing it.:: He unvolenteered himself. ::I don't think we should anyway, and not just to save my hide, but I won't stop you. It's your business too, but I'm not going to do it..::

Pan nodded. "Honey, you already DID do it." She grinned inwardly as he and Bra sweatdropped.

"Earth to uncle." She waved her hand in front of his face. "You okay in there?"

"What was the question?" He knew fully well what the question was, he was just buying time.

"How do you know eachother?" She asked again.

"How do we know eachother." Pan repeated. "A very good question! One that deserves and answer... Bra?"

"No way in hell!" Bra protested.

"Damn." She sighed. "All right. Pam, will you go find my dad? He'll know who you are, just tell him Pan sent you. Don't worry, Dad's a nice guy, he'll like you. Let's go to the roof."

Pam watched curiously as the four left to go to the roof.

***

"Uncle? Pan, Bra?" Melissa asked. "What's this about?"

"We're going to tell you how we know eachother." Bra said.

"Uhm... and why couldn't you do that in the school?" She asked.

"Because." Pan started. "You may want to sit down."

"Okay." She sat down on the ledge. "So, spill it."

"Imetyourunclecuzherapedme." Pan spewed out.

"What?" Melissa blinked a few times.

"Your uncle... raped me." She said quietly.

Melissa's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. "What?"

"You heard." Pan sighed. "Don't make me repeat it. No doubt you've heard about his wife?"

She nodded.

"Well, he found out, got drunk, and guess who the target for a crime was?!" She said sarcastically. "Of course he barely remembered a detail, but we seem to keep running into eachother."

"Uncle David?" She looked to him in disbelief.

He looked down in shame, closing his eyes, and nodded slightly.

"How could you?" Her voice cracked as she struggled not to cry. It was terrible thinking you knew someone and then finding out something like this.

"Melissa." Bra, the most unlikely person, knelt down in front of the younger girl. "Your uncle is a good guy. He really is. He did a stupid thing getting drunk, but he didn't do anything to Pan that he wanted to, it was the alcohol. You need to understand that. It wasn't a conscience desicion." Bra took the girl's hands. "He's appologized about a million and one times, but nothing can fix what's been done, so it's best to try and move on."

Melissa nodded slowly and wiped her eyes. "You idiot." She stood up. "You know better than to drink, what the HELL were you thinking!?" She demanded.

Well at least she was talking to him.

Melissa pulled a Chi Chi for the next few minutes before crossing her arms and turning her back to them all. "I hope you learned your lesson."

"She reminds me of Chi Chi." Bra whispered to the other two.

They both nodded in agreement.

"Pan, I'm really sorry for uncle stupid here." Melissa sighed.

"It's really okay. That was... during the summer... a long time ago. I'm over it." Pan assured. "Uh, I should find my parents."

"Pan?" Gohan floated to the roof.

"Spoke too soon." Bra muttered.

"Uhm.. hai, daddy." Pan said to her father.

"What're you doing up here?" He asked.

"Nothing much." She said nervously.

"Damn, your dad is hot." Melissa blurted.

Gohan blushed redder than a tomato.

"See, Gohan-san. You shouldn't wear the glasses." Bra smiled and patted his cheek. "This is Melissa-"

"You." Gohan said coldly, turning to the side slightly.

"Yes, me." David sighed.

"Dad, Melissa is his neice." Pan explained. "She reminds me of your mom." She whispered the last part.

Gohan had to struggle not to crack a grin at that.

"Did your dad just fly?" Melissa asked.

Gohan nodded sheepishly.

"Smooth dad, real smooth." Pan rolled her eyes.

"But... how?" She blinked a few times.

"Long story." Bra muttered. "My parents are probably having a fit, I should get going."

"Tell mom where I am!" Pan called as Bra went inside.

The four stood in an uncomfortable silence for several minutes before Videl opened the door and walked over to her family and looked at the other two, trying to remember where she'd seen him before... until it hit her like a sack of rocks.

"You!" Her eyes widened.

"Uh, hi?" It came out as more of a question than a statement.

Videl took a deep breath, walked up to him, and socked him across the face. He went flying back, nearly over the edge of the building, but Pan caught him.

"Mom!" Pan yelled.

"I'm sorry, sweetie, I had to get that out." She took another deep breath and walked over to Gohan again.

David glanced down the building and swallowed nervously. "Could you.. help me up?"

"Oh! Sorry." Pan pulled him up. "That's my mom.... sorry about that."

He shook his head. "I deserved it."

"Damn straight." Videl and Melissa both said.

Gohan stifled a laugh.

"That's gonna leave quite a bruise." Pan observed.

"I've never been hit like that before!" He exclaimed, rubbing his jaw. "Especially not by a girl."

"I'm no ordinary girl." Videl smirked. "I've been fighting since I was three!" She said proudly.

"Mom and dad met because mom used to fight crime and dad was... uh. Dad?" Pan looked up.

Gohan shrugged. "I don't care."

"Great Saiyaman." Pan finished.

"Nani!?" He looked up to Gohan with wide eyes. "You! You're the original Great Saiyaman?"

Gohan shrugged again.

"You look kinda young to remember when he first appeared." Videl stated.

"I was about twelve." He said sheepishly. "I still remember, though. I thought you were the coolest."

"You're only six years older than me!" Pan exclaimed. "Sheesh, you wouldn't figure. That's kind of ironic... your hero being my dad. Of course most people's was Grandpa Satan." She stifled a laugh. "Almost everybody knows about the Saiyamen now."

"Your dad is the Great Saiyaman?!" Melissa asked incredulously. "So Great Saiyaman two must be... you?"

Videl nodded. "Yup, Gohan had Bulma make me a watch just like his. Except mine's in touch with the police radio."

"Oh, so that's how you always know where to be." David nodded in understanding. "Wait, Bulma.. as in Bulma Briefs?"

"Yeah, Bra is my best friend. Bra... Briefs. Remember. See, Bulma found Grandpa Goku, remember I told you all about that." Pan said.

"I don't think you mentioned Bulma." He shrugged. "Anyway, I think you broke my jaw."

"Good job, mom." Pan rolled her eyes. "It's not broken, you wouldn't be able to talk. But it's going to be sore for a few days."

"Hey Gohan, we were going to go get some ice cream, you want to come?" Arasa came through the door.

"It's on us." Sharpner offered.

"Couldn't do that to you." Pan grinned. "Not with a Saiyan appetite. You two want to come? I'll pay, Bra and I were going that way anyway."

"I wouldn't want to impose." David declined politely.

"We've been through this before." Pan shook her head. "Men never learn."

Arasa nodded. "You've got a smart kid, Gohan."

Pan laughed. "Come on, I'll get you some ice for your jaw."

"What happened anyway? Gohan sock you?" Sharpner asked.

"Videl did." He said in embarrassment.

"Don't worry, man. She's punched me too." He patted the younger man on the back. "Name's Sharpner."

"David." He took the outstreched hand and shook it.

"You a friend of Gohan?" Arasa asked.

"No." Videl and Gohan answered.

"Sheesh, you must have done something pretty bad to make Gohan not like you." Sharpner stated.

"You can say that again." Pan muttered. "Does anyone know where Bra went?"

"Yo, Pan!" Bra called from the ground. She was with Marron and Uub. "I'm going over to Marron's, I'll see you tomorrow, we'll hang out!"

"Oh, all right. Call me... er.. knock on my bedroom door." Pan said, remembering she was *still* staying at CC.

Bra and Marron waved and Uub nodded in Pan's direction as they headed for thier car.

"Well, they're not going." Pan turned back to the group.

"What were you four up to?" Pam asked from behind.

"Huh?" Melissa turned around and looked at the girl. "Oh yeah." She glanced from Pan to her uncle.

"We'll tell them all together." Pan said.

Melissa nodded and glared at her uncle again. "This is so gross." She whispered to Pan.

"Hmm?" Pan asked, leaning close.

"He's my uncle, I don't even like to think about him *having* those parts, let alone using them... especially on an unwilling teenager... it's just nasty." Melissa whispered again.

Pan laughed. "I'll spare you the details."

Pam looked in confusion between the two girls. She'd heard 'those parts' and 'unwilling teenager' and didn't want to know what it was about.

"It's not nice to whisper." David whispered in thier ears.

Pan almost elbowed him in the face, but remember she couldn't do that to a normal human without injuring or killing them, so she grinned... and kissed him full on the lips.

He was so surprised he fell backward.

Pan laughed. "I'm sorry, I couldn't elbow you, so I had to do something. That was the first thing that came into my mind."

"Eew, Pan!" Melissa nearly shrieked. "What did I just say?!"

"Sorry." She shrugged.

David blinked a few times and reached up and touched his lips in a dreamlike manner. That was definatly unexpected.

"Stand up, you look like an idiot." Pan pulled him off the ground.

Sharpner and Arasa blinked; luckily Gohan and Videl had been facing away from them.

"What are you looking at?" Videl waved a hand in front of her old friend's face.

"Nothing, nothing." Arasa lied. "So who is he, anyway? Pan's boyfriend?"

Gohan grunted and Videl snorted. "Not hardly." The both answered.

"Then why did she just kiss him?" Arasa asked.

Gohan nearly went Super Saiyan. "Nani?!"

Pan stared at her father and sweatdropped.
