"Ow!" Pan slammed into a tree and slunk to the ground. Vegeta charged up a large ki blast and hurled it at her. "AHHHH!" She screamed and went Super Saiyan, golden aura surrounding her.
"Now it gets interesting." Vegeta powered up to SSJ and flew in ready to fight some more. Vegeta was just about to slam a large gloved fist into Pan's face when Bra came running out and yelled 'time!' He stopped inches from her face.
"Pan, you told me to remind me when it was 11:30, so here I am." Bra tapped her wrist watch once for emphasis.
"Thanks, Bra." Pan powered down and slid past Vegeta. "Sorry Vegeta-san, I'll spar with you later tonight, I've gotta eat and get out of here."
Vegeta snorted in response as Bra and Pan walked away. He lowered his fist that was still suspended in midair and powered down from Super Saiyan. "Damn, and I was just warming up." He muttered as he walked into the house.
***
Pan dropped gracefully out of the sky and floated inches from the ground in front of David, who was engrossed in a book and not noticing Pan floating in front of his face. She was wearing her blue jumpsuit and Saiyan armor.
"Ahem." She cleared her throat. The man just about jumped out of his skin.
"You scared me." He bookmarked the spot in the book and closed it, setting it down on the rim of the fountain.
"Sorry." She shrugged. "I got held up, Vegeta insisted I spar for 15 minutes before I go to wherever it is I was going. He's probably following me, but I don't really care, he's already seen what happened."
"Uh...he's not going to jump out and kill me or anything is he?" He looked around cautiously.
"Nah, probably not." She said. "He usually listens to me about equal to how much he listens to his own daughter, so you'll be fine."
He nodded.
"So where should I begin?" Pan floated in midair with her legs crossed (think Piccolo meditating). "And what do you want to know."
"How about just before I showed up." He suggested. "And I want to know *everything*"
Pan shrugged and began.
"All right. It was pretty late. Ten or so, I had just gotten off work. I work for a large investing firm during the summer as a part time secretary, but I ran late. I was waiting for the bus, and wondering why the hell I didn't bring my capsules with me. I don't really know how long I had been out there, but I had the feeling I was being watched for a long time. My suspicions were confirmed when the cool round barrel of a gun was pressed into by back. I whipped around and screamed some obsenities, and there you were, decked out in leather and squishing a 32 calliber beretta to my stomach. You demanded I hand over my cash, capsules, and jewlery, and as I mentioned before I didn't bring my capsules. I also didn't have any money, and I'm pretty much a tomboy, so I don't wear jewlery very often. You said it was more fun for you. I was contemplating on whether to fly off or not, you know they've been watching the skies like mad, when you pressed the gun harder to my ribs and shoved my hands above my head. I couldn't move with the gun to my abdomen. Since there were lackies all around I was pretty much surrounded. One of the guys, I think the one that had the knife, ripped my skirt clean off my hips, and took my underwear with it...." She paused and glanced to his face. He was completely attentive, but looked almost disbelieving.
"The other two, the ones that didn't pull my skirt off each too an arm and pinned me to the wall. I knew what was going on, I was too scared to move, or struggle, if I had all four of you would be dead. So I just stood there, shivering, petrified, I couldn't believe that this was actually happening, but it became very real when you broke in. It hurt; Kami it hurt so much, I was dry, tense, terrified, it seemed to go in slow motion. I could feel you enter, break though, move in and out, slowly, even though I knew it was fast and only lasted for a few thrusts. I'd never been so mortified and ashamed in my whole life, I felt so dirty, like my whole body had been littered because of this one thing. After that it was blurry, I remember you stopping, I thought maybe you were going to show some mercy, answer my pleas and cries, but I heard someone call my name. It was Juunana-gou. You pulled yourself out and then I saw him whiz by and you go flying into the brick wall as I slid to the ground crying. There were foot steps, probably the other goons running off, and then Juunana picked me up. The last thing I remembered before I blacked out was whispering 'Juunana-gou'." She finished. "So that's how it all started, but it was far from over."
"My gosh...it's just too much. Like waking up from a dream. I don't remember any of it, only your face and the guy you called Juunana-gou..but why 'number seventeen'?" He asked.
"Juu-kun is Jinzouningen. He was built by a madman name Dr. Gero. Gero stole his and his twin sister's life away. Erased thier memories, stole thier identies, and instead gave them numbers. This all happened before I was born, but the sole purpose for them was to kill Son Goku, my grandpa Goku. Something about a grudge or something like that, but after they were aborbed by Cell, which my father destroyed, they were both wished back. Juuhachi-gou married Krillin and Juunana-gou is just a family friend." She explained. "Anyway, back to my story. I remember waking up and seeing Juunana-gou's gun. He always carried one for some reason, it's not like he needed it, he could kill just about anything without even raising his power, but he was sleeping at the desk on the other side of the room. I remembered the night before, and noticed the still terrible ache between my legs. He woke up and came over. I was so jumpy, I've known Juu all my life and when he touched my shin I just about jumped out of my skin..."
Pan continued to explain everything up until that day, including Trunks, and he listened, still not quite believing, but knowing it was true.
"I just can't believe the hell I've put you through." He shook his head sadly. "I'm so sorry."
Pan looked over to a nearby bush and fired a small ki blast to it, the bush was obliterated, but behind it Vegeta and Juunana-gou were quietly argueing with eachother.
"Vegeta-san, Juu-kun, you should be ashamed." Pan tapped her foot in midair. "Eavsedropping?"
"Uhm...sorry Panny, we just wondered where you ran off to." Juunana-gou explained. "Then we saw you with this guy..."
"Trunks kinda mowed him over last night when we went out for icecream..." Pan said.
"What is this about my son seducing you?" Vegeta stood up and brushed himself off. He strode over and glared at David, floating just an inch higher than Pan, in an attempt to look bigger.
"You heard, don't make me explain it again." Pan pleaded.
"Fine brat." Vegeta said. "As for you." He turned to the man in the wheelchair. "You should be glad it was the tincan that found you <Juunana scowled>, and not me, I'd have made sure the job was done."
"Vegeta, he was drunk. It's really no excuse, but at least it's an explaination." Pan said.
"Weak, puny system. I could drink a keg and be sober fifteen minutes after." Vegeta smirked.
"Saiyan advantages." Juunana-gou stood up and dusted himself off. "I can take more liquor too, due to my enhanced body. Being Jinzouningen definatly has its perks."
"Anyway, I'm finished with what I came here for, so I suppose we should leave. I do owe you a spar." She said to Vegeta.
"Indeed you do." He agreed and lifted off. "I'll see you at home, brat."
"Come on, Pan-chan, let's get going." Juunana-gou took her hand.
"Right." She turned to her assailer. "I don't know where you're going now, or what your going to do, but I hope you can forgive yourself and find love like I have." Pan took off, dragging Juunana-gou from behind.
***
"I whooped your butt, just admit it." Pan joked with Juunana-gou. He had decided to try his hand against one of the Super Saiyans, and had gotten the crap kicked out of his cyborg self.
"You've got a slight advantage." Juunana-gou pointed out. "You can train and become stronger, but I can't."
"Why not?" She asked.
"Jinzouningen weren't meant to get stronger, they shouldn't have to, I was the strongest thing alive...30 years ago, but now I'm one of the weaker fighters. I'm in the ranks with Yamcha and Krillin now, not the Super Saiyans like I used to be." He explained.
"Oh, that sucks." Pan said. "What's it like to age mentally, but not physically?" She asked for no reason. She'd always been somewhat curious about it, but the question had never come to her mouth before.
"It has its advantages, but also it disadvantages." He started. "For one thing, you never get old and frial, case in point: Kamesennin. But then you think, 'what will it be like to outlive all your friends and never see them again because you're an immortal jinzouningen'. It makes me wonder if jinzouningen go to any kind of afterlife, do we just stop being, or do we still possess some of our human characteristics that allow a soul?"
"I think you can." She said quietly. "Remember when Buu destroyed the planet? You didn't just cease to exist, not like Juuruku-gou obviously did when he was killed by Cell. You wouldn't have been able to come back after Cell absorbed you if you couldn't either. Besides, machines can't feel emotion like you and Juuhachi-gou. Love, fear, anger, hate, compassion... You a human mind with an enhanced body."
Juunana-gou smiled for the first time in a very long time. She had an extremely valid point, he was a human mind and soul, just hidden amongst wires and circuits, chips and enhanced body parts.
"You really know how to make people feel better." He patted her leg lightly and stood up. Pan didn't flinch at his touch, she was slightly surprised at that herself, her body had been doing things her mind didn't tell it to lately. Or her body NOT doing what her mind told it to. She smiled and stood up as well.
"I'll see you later, Juu-kun." She waved as he flew off.
***
Over the next few weeks, things were getting back to normal. Pan and Bra went back to school, Marron's baby was born, and Bra started going out with Goten. Bra and Pan were walking home from school on a warm autumn afternoon, they'd have flown, but the weather was so perfect they couldn't resist.
"I still can't believe you're dating my uncle." Pan shook her head.
"I can't believe you like my brother." Bra countered.
"I don't, not anymore, infact, I got asked out today." She jabbed Bra in the ribs playfully.
"You gonna go?" She asked.
"Dunno. I have to ask my dad first. You know, family rules." Pan shrugged.
"Pan." Bra stopped walking and pointed ahead to where someone was crossing the street. "Is that who I think it is?"
"Who-Oh hey, it is." Pan said. "Come on, let's catch him."
"What!? Why on Earth or Namek would we do that?" Bra asked incredulously as Pan dragged her down the street.
"Wait up!" Pan called, making a mad dash and skidding to a halt on the other side of the street.
"Huh?" The guy turned around.
"Hola amigo!" Pan said cheerfully, pushing the windblown Bra off of her.
"Uh.. hi." The guy said nervously.
Pan glanced to Bra and smacked her upside the head; she'd been giving death-glares to David.
"Don't mind Bra, she won't kill you." Pan smiled innocently as Bra rubbed the back of her head. "I see you can walk again." She looked up to his face, he was a good head and a half taller than her.
"Yeah." He said, glancing to Bra again, who seemed to have settled down a little.
"You heading anywhere in particular?" She asked.
"Just the library." He pointed to the pack that was slung over his shoulder.
"You want to go get some coffee or something?" Pan asked casually.
His eyes widened briefly, but his surprise was cut off by Bra.
"Pan, are you insane!?" Bra yelled.
"No more than usual." Pan shrugged. "Listen, that was a long time ago, it's over now. Everything's back to normal, so get over it. Sheesh, it didn't even happen to you and you're throwing a shitfit. Besides, no one said you had to come."
"I can't anyway." Bra conceded. "Trunks asked me to fill in for him. He's uh.. got an early date."
Pan shrugged. "I know."
Bra nearly facefaulted. "You know, I thought you were like head over heals for him?"
"Used to be. Not anymore." She shrugged again. "All right, go ahead, but please don't tell anyone who I'm with. They'll go crazy, especially my dad."
Bra nodded and started down the street.
"You up for it?" Pan turned to David again.
"Uhm.. I guess. You're sure you want to, I mean I am the one who-" Pan cut him off.
"I said it before and I'll say it again. That was weeks ago. It's over and done, I'm over, everyone's over it, so let's move on." Pan sighed and grabbed his hand, starting to walk again and pulling him with her.
He let out a slight squeak as he was dragged down the street by a girl that was nearly a foot and a half shorter than him, not to mention a lot lighter.
David finally caught his balance and walked along next to her.
"Man, you are strong." He stated.
She shrugged. "Family thing, my entire family, including both sets of grandparents were fighters at some point or another. Not to mention the Saiyan genes."
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"Coffee shop." She informed. "The one my friend Marron owns. She's only doing part-time since her baby was born, it's a cute little thing, you should see it."
"Uh.. all right." He let her continue dragging him down the street.
"So how are you; what have you been up to?" She asked.
"Nothing much." He said.
"If you don't mind me asking, how are things with your wife?" Pan inquired.
"We're seperated." He said flatly.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She sighed. "You going to try and work it out, or do you think it's over?"
"It's over. We're just waiting on the divorce papers." He said.
"Well, look on the bright side, you'll get your bachelor life back. You won't have any problem finding a girl, you are pretty cute." She said, pushing the door to the coffee shop open and motioning in.
"Pan!" She was immediatly noticed by one of her school friends.
"Hey, Jill." She said, unenthusiastically. The girl came over and motioned for them to join her and her date. "No thanks, we're.. meeting some people. Sorry." She made an excuse.
"Oh well. So, you on a date or something?" She asked.
Pan snorted trying to contain the laughter that surfaced. "Hardly."
"Ooo, if he's not yours, can I have him?" She asked.
"Hey!" The girl's date yelled.
"Just kidding." Jill laughed. "Well, I'll see you later Pan-chan. See you at school Monday."
Pan pushed David into a booth and sat down across from him.
She picked up the menu and started looking it over. "What do you want, it's on me."
"No, that's okay." He shook his head in protest. "I can pay for it."
"I got a bonus." She held up the credit card. "It's on me."
He opened his mouth to protest again when two people walked up to thier table.
"David." The voice said.
"Shit." He swore under his breath.
"Care to introduce me to your friend?" The woman asked.
"Trisha, this is Pan. Pan, this is my wife, ex-wife, Trisha." He sighed.
"Nice to meet you." She held out a dainty hand.
"Likewise." Pan growled, taking her hand and giving it a sharp squeeze, causing Trisha to squeak in pain and pull her hand away. As far as Pan was concerned, if the bimbo hadn't cheated on David, he wouldn't have gotten drunk, wouldn't have raped her, and none of this would have happened.
"Tough grip." She gasped, rubbing her hand tenderly.
The guy next to her held his hand out to Pan as a way of challenge. "I'm Trisha's boyfriend, Steve."
"Hi, *Steve*." Pan grinned. Oh she would enjoy the shocked look on his face. Pan took his hand and squeezed it, upon hearing a sharp crack she released his hand and smiled sweetly. "So sorry, I suppose I don't know my own strength."
David watched in amusement and Pan broke the Steve guy's hand.
"She broke my hand!" He gasped.
Pan shrugged. "Perhaps you've met my parents?" She asked innocently. "Son Gohan and Videl, formerly Videl... Satan."
"You're Mr. Satan's granddaughter!" The guy practically shrieked. "He was my hero!"
Pan couldn't repress the giggle that came out. "Marron, Uub!" Pan yelled, noticing her friends from behind.
"Hey Panny, how are you?" Uub asked.
"Uub-san!" Pan hopped up and hugged Uub. "How are you, how's the baby?"
"We're good. The baby's with Krillin and Juuhachi, it's doing great. Gonna be an awsome fighter someday soon." He answered.
"Marron-san!" Pan hopped over to her other friend. "How are you?"
"Bloated, and that's a chan, not san, I'm not that much older than you." She laughed.
"Yeah right, you look great, Marron-*chan*." Pan stood back. "And you're boobs look bigger too."
Marron laughed out loud. "Side-effects." She informed.
"Uhm, care to introduce us?" Trisha asked poisonously sweet.
"No prob." Pan said. "This Uub and Marron."
"Well, what do we have here." Trisha moved towards Uub and ran her hands over his well muscled chest that could be easily seen through the tight t-shirt.
"We have my husband." Marron intervened, briefly noticing that her boyfriend looked jealous and like he wanted to kiss her at the same time. "And if I didn't know any better, I'd SWEAR your boyfriend was looking at my chest."
"Steve!" She hissed, pulling away from Uub.
"I wasn't!" He exclaimed, tearing his eyes from Marron.
Marron leaned over to pick up a napkin off the far side of the table and glanced back, satisfied at how he was looking up her skirt.
Pan, Marron, and Uub laughed as 'Steve' was dragged away by the steaming Trisha.
"Hey Pan, just thought we'd come say hi. We saw you come in." Marron sat down next to Uub, Pan switching sides and sitting with David.
"Just having a cup of coffee." Pan said. "So what have you two been up to?"
"Nothing." Marron sighed. "I'm telling you, if I don't start training again, I'm going to get flabby."
"You couldn't if you tried, Marron." Pan laughed. "Uub, I heard your little brother won a martial arts tournament in America, is it true?"
"Sure is." He said proudly. "How are you, Panny. I haven't seen you since..." He trailed off. "In a while."
"I'm good. School started, I'm in all honors classes again. Hehe." She laughed. "I could probably graduate, but mom and dad think I should be with normal people. I don't see why, I pretty much only hang with Bra anyway, so there's not much point."
"Speaking of people, who's this?" Marron asked, looking to David.
"Oh yeah!" Pan slapped her head. "Sorry. This is David. David, this is Uub and Marron. They're family friends. My grandpa trained him." She pointed to Uub. "And her father has been fighting side by side for years. Actually, they trained together before he even learned to fly."
"Aren't our parents old?" Marron laughed.
"Her mother is Juuhachi-gou, Juunana-gou's brother." Pan explained.
"You know my uncle?" Marron inquired.
"I've met him." He anwered quietly.
"You look vaguely familiar..." Uub mused and scanned his ki, he nearly fell from his chair when the truth his him like a ton of bricks. "What the hell!?"
Uub didn't usually swear, and when he did, something wasn't going to be alive for very long.
"Shit, Uub, calm down. I invited him here." Pan held Uub's large forearm with her tiny hands as she felt his ki jump a few thousand degrees.
"What?" Marron looked at the guy and scanned his ki. "It's you!" Her slanted eyes widened in shock. "It can't be... Pan, what on Earth is going on?"
"I'm having some coffee with an aquaintance?" She offered.
"Pan." Uub warned. He was having trouble controlling himself.
"Settle down." She sighed. "Look, yes this is who you think it is, but, big but here, I invited him here, okay?I don't know what you're thinking or what you've heard of this, but don't kill him! I worked to hard keeping Vegeta and daddy from killing him to have him killed by you two."
"Maybe I should go." David started to stand.
"Sit!" All three of them yelled.
He sat back down.
"Please explain Pan-chan. We all saw what happened, so what's the deal?" Marron asked.
"Drunk." She said. "He was drunk because his wife, the lady who was hitting on Uub cheated on him. He didn't even remember what happened until he saw me in the hospital."
Marron nodded slowly and sighed. "I guess that makes enough sense. But answer me this; how did you get to the point of going to coffee shops?"
"A few weeks ago Trunks and I ran into him and then today Bra and I saw him again." Pan explained.
Uub growled low in his throat and nodded reluctantly, unconsciencely clutching Marron tighter.
"Uub." Marron squeaked. "I can't breathe."
"Ah!" He let her go. "Sorry."
"No problem." She rubbed her waist.
"Uh.. may I take your order?" Marron asked after the uncomfortable silence. She pulled out a pad of paper.
"Vodka." David said.
"Nani!?" All three yelled.
"Just kidding." He held his hands in front of his face. "Coffee, please."
"I'll have a cappucino." Pan said. "Oh Marron, my dad says that he wants to meet with your dad. Something about pictures from Namek or something."
Marron laughed. "Bulma told me about that. She took pictures.. I didn't believe her until she showed me."
"Bulma cracks me up." Pan chuckled.
"Well, we've got work to do." Marron said. "You still want the orders?"
Pan glanced at her watch and shook her head. "I gotta get home. Mom says that grandpa wants something. You need a ride?" She turned to David.
"I wouldn't want to impose." He declined.
"It's no problem. Put two and two together. My best friend is Bra Briefs. Her mother is Bulma Briefs, that means that I get new cars and free gas just about every other week." Pan insisted. "Come on. Marron, Uub, I'll see you at the reunion next week, if not before. Tell Krillin and Juuhachi-gou hello for me."
"All righty." Marron stood. "See you then!"
"Bye!" Pan called as they left the coffee shop.
***
"Hop in." She opened the door.
"It's really okay." He protested weakly.
"Get in, don't make you put you in." She grinned mishieviously and laughed as he quickly climbed in. "So.. do you like any sports or anything?" She asked.
"I'm a big baseball fan." He admitted.
"Have a favorite player?" She asked.
"Ever heard of Yamcha-" He was cut off.
"Heard of him!? I know him!" She exclaimed. "Yamcha was Bulma's old boyfriend before she and Vegeta got together. We go way, way back."
"Do you know everyone famous?" He asked incredulously.
"Probably, remember, I'm Mr. Satan's granddaughter." She said. "I'm royalty on one side of the family, Saiyan on another, famous on the third, friends with other famous people..."
"Royalty?" He asked.
"Oh yeah. You see, grandma Chi Chi was Princess of the Ox Kingdom." She explained. "Which makes me a princess too, just like Bra."
"Bra's a princess too?" He asked skeptically.
"Yup, princess of the Saiyans. She rubs that in my face every day. Her father was the prince of the Saiyans and my grandfather was only a third class, just like his father." Pan told him. "But then again, I don't think being Super Saiyan keeps you in third class ranking.."
Just then Pan's car phone rang.
"Moshi moshi?" She asked.
.......
"What? Crap, all right, I'll be there in a few." Pan hung up the phone and changed direction.
"Where are we going?" He asked, clinging to the door for dear life.
"To my house and then to Cap Corp." She answered. "Vegeta-san blew up the gravity machine again, he needs a senzu bean. This baby can do ninety, we'll be there in no time." Pan sped up and shot off towards her house.
***
"Dad, senzu! Dad?" She asked.
"Not here!" Chi Chi called. "I have some senzu though. Hey, who's the guy in the car."
"That's the guy..." She hinted.
"What?" Chi Chi asked.
"The GUY.. for crying out loud. The guy that raped me." She grabbed the senzu bean and headed for the door just as Chi Chi fainted.
Pan ran out the door and over to the car. "I'm gonna fly the rest of the way, it's faster. Just wait here."
"Are you sure that's such a good idea?" He asked as she started floating.
"No, but I this is way faster. Be back in half a jiff." Pan blasted off into the distance and was gone in a few seconds.
As Pan flew from view Goten and Gohan landed in the yard.
"I whooped your butt, admit it." Goten jabbed playfully.
"No way, I wasn't powered up." Gohan punched him lightly in the arm.
"Yeah, sure." Goten rolled his eyes.
"Hey, isn't that Pan's car?" Gohan asked his little brother.
"Yeah." Goten nodded.
"Who's that in it?" He asked.
Goten's eyes widened and he struggled not to go SSJ again. "Uhm.. I know him, you go tell mom we're home, okay?"
"Goten, what's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing." He said more cheerfully. "Find out what's for dinner."
Gohan nodded slowly and reluctantly headed for the house.
Goten walked slowly over to the car and tapped on the window, making David jump and turn to the glass.
"Hi, remember me?" Goten asked before punching the glass of the window out and pulling him out by his shirt collar.
He nodded as he was held up by by his neck. "Please don't kill me." He said. Goten dropped him and he scrambled to his feet.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Uhm.. Pan ran into me on the street and invited me for coffee, but we ran into my ex and her boyfriend and she broke his hand... then she was taking me home, but uh.. someone, I don't remember who, needed one of those beans." He explained nervously.
"Why did she do that?" Goten asked, calming down slightly.
"I don't really know." He answered truthfully.
"So Pan brought you here?" Goten asked.
He nodded.
"You sure she didn't bring you here so Gohan could kill you?" He asked half-jokingly half serious.
"That's a definate possibility." He replied.
"So you met Marron and Uub, they try to kill you too?" He asked, knowing Uub all to well.
"No, they looked like they wanted to though. Not that I blame them." He muttered.
"Yeah, me neither." Goten said. "Pan's gonna be pissed about the window." He looked over to the broken window.
"I think her dad is going to be even more mad about seeing me.." He said, looking over Goten's shoulder. "Cuz he's coming right now."
"Hey Goten, mom fainted, what do you think happened?" Gohan asked, coming outside.
"I think I have a good idea." He said, not taking his eyes off the terrified man.
"I'm Gohan." He introduced from behind his younger brother.
"David." He answered, taking Gohan's extended hand.
"What happened to Pan's window?" He asked, noting the broken glass all over.
"Uh, I accidentally broke it." Goten answered.
"So who are you? Pan's new boyfriend?" Gohan asked.
"Hardly." Both Goten and David answered.
::Gohan.:: Goten said telepathically.
::So who is he?:: He asked.
::Now don't blow up on me here, okay. But that's the guy...:: He explained.
"That's him!?" He was so surprised he didn't even bothing thinking it mentally. "What the hell is he doing on our property!?"
"Pan brought him here." Goten explained.
"What? Why in Kami's name would she do that?" He asked in confusion.
"I don't know, why don't you ask her, she's coming right now. She's got company too. Trunks and Bra are with her." Goten answered.
"Pan!" Gohan flew up to meet her.
"Shit." Pan and Bra cursed.
"What the hell is he doing here! At our HOUSE!?!" Gohan questioned angrily.
"Well at least he didn't kill him yet." Trunks pointed out.
"I was taking him home when Bulma called telling me that she needed a senzu for Vegeta. He blew up the gravity room. So I came here and then figured it would be faster to fly. By the way, how's grandma, she sort of fainted when I told her who it was." Pan explained. "Just land, I'll explain it all."
The four landed and Pan explained about everything since she and Trunks ran into him on the street to that very second.
"Drunk." Gohan muttered and shook his head. "Incredibly STUPID thing to do."
"It was, but it was a mistake." Pan defended.
"Do you even know the hell you've put all of us through?" Gohan asked Pan's attacker.
"I explained it all, dad. I'm going to take him home and you, Goten, are going to replace my window." She poked her uncle's chest.
"Sorry, Pan-chan." Goten apologized.
"You better be." She crossed her arms Vegeta style. "Anyway, I'll see you all later."
"Drunk!" Chi Chi stormed out of the house from her eavsedropping position and proceeded to rant and rave for nearly a half hour until Gohan pointed out that it was getting dark.
***
"I'm really sorry if my family scared you, they can be a little strange." She said as she drove off.
"Don't apologize, I'm just thankful that they didn't kill me. Although your grandmother is kinda scary. I think of all of your family and friends that have threatened me, she was the scariest of all." He said.
Pan laughed. "Grandma can be a little intimidating, but she's a great grandma. You know she tricked my grandpa Goku into marrying her. He thought marriage was a kind of food, it's a wonder daddy was ever born. He didn't know the difference between girls and boys without doing a pat pat."
"Pat pat?" He asked.
Pan giggled. "He patted thier crotch, and if they had a pillow, they were a guy and if they didn't they were a girl. See, he was raised way out in the woods, an old man named Gohan found him - hence the Gohan that is my father - when he was a baby. Turns out Grandpa Goku was an alien, sent to earth to purge it of all sentient life, but he hit his head when he was a baby and lost his Saiyan programming."
"Are there still Saiyans around?" He asked slightly worridly.
"No, Vegeta-san is the last pure-blooded Saiyan. Trunks and Bra, and Goten and dad are half and I'm a fourth." She explained. "The Saiyans were destroyed by Frieza, an evil being that was the most powerful thing... thirty years ago. Grandpa turned Super Saiyan when we were on Namek, after Krillin, Marron's father, was killed.
"But I thought they said that thier baby was with Krillin." He said.
"Oh, we wished him back." She said like it was nothing.
"Wished him back?" He asked.
"With the dragonballs, but there aren't any anymore." She sighed. "Not here at least. I guess there are some on New Namek."
"What do they do?" He inquired.
"You gather seven dragonballs and a dragon is summoned, then you get to make three wishes with Namek dragonballs and two here. But when the evil Shenlongs came, the dragonballs left with the dragon and grandpa Goku." She shrugged. "Grandpa's died twice and been brought back both times. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, actually, the planet's been destroyed and wished back too."
"Amazing, but what's this about Namek?" He asked.
"Old Namek was destroyed by Frieza, but the new Namek is around here somewhere. After Radditz - he'd be my great Uncle - and Vegeta and Nappa, Bulma, Krillin, and my dad all went to Namek to wish back our friends that Vegeta killed. Because Piccolo and Kami were assimilated so when Piccolo sacrificed himself for my dad, the dragonballs of Earth went with him. They went to Namek to wish back everyone that had been killed, but found out that Vegeta and Frieza, which none of us knew about, were already there. Frieza ended up killing Krillin and then Goku went Super Saiyan and killed him. The planet blew up after Frieza used one of his planet destroying attacks on it. That wasn't when he died the second time, he died the second time against Cell, but got brought back to help fight Buu." She explained.
"Wow, really?" He asked. "That's incredible. Where is this new Namek place?"
"Not sure. The only one of us that ever went to it was grandpa and he used his instant teleport to go to it." She said. "Dende probably knows."
"Who's Dende?" He asked again.
"Guardian of Earth. He's a Namekian, lives up on the lookout." Pan told him. "Where do I turn."
"Next street." He answered, mulling over everything she'd told him mentally. "Dragonballs, eh?"
She nodded.
He had just gotten a really good idea, but didn't have any way to execute it. "How did they get to Namek?"
"Bulma built a spaceship." She shrugged.
"I knew she was a genius, but a spaceship?!" He exclaimed.
"Yup, well, she didn't exactly build it, she sort of fixed it up, and her father helped, but considering Earth's current technology, it's still pretty good." Pan said.
"I'll say." He nodded.
"Which one's yours?" She asked as she turned onto the street.
"206." He pointed to a small blue house. "There."
Pan turned into the driveway. "Sorry again for my family." She said sheepishly.
"No problem, I'm sorry about.. everything." He sighed.
"Stop apologizing." She ordered.
"You first." He said.
"Deal." She nodded once as he stepped from the car. "Bye."
"Thanks for the ride." He said.
"Which one?" She asked.
His eyes widened and he blushed. "Sorry."
"I was kidding." She laughed at his expression. "I'm over it, I wouldn't be able to joke like that if I wasn't. Well, knowing our luck, we'll probably run into eachother again, so I'll see you again."
"Bye." He said.
She waved as he entered the house and pulled out of the driveway and down the street. Pan had a feeling that he was planning something, not something bad, just something. She drove off and headed for home.
