"I'm home!" Melissa called as she entered the house. "Uncle David?"
"Listen, Trisha, you can't come around here just to cause trouble. I'm taking care of Mel right now and I've got alot of things going on. You know I don't have a job." Melissa overheard her uncle.
"I'm sorry if things are tough for you David, but court orders..." She waved her finger.
"There were no orders." He insisted. "You show me the papers, real papers, not copies, and I'll pay up fair and square. But I refuse to allow you to barge into my house, demand money, and bring more problems than I need."
Melissa's eyes narrowed at the conversation. She'd never like Trisha before, she was always saying 'oh, isn't that cute, now go play with your little friends' and other insulting things. Sometimes she was downright mean. Well, her uncle wasn't go to get bullied by some ho in his own house.
"Uncle David, Bra and Pan wanted me to go to their party at Capsule Corp. Is that okay?" She asked, stepping in and glaring at the older woman.
Trisha glared.
"It's a big bash for Pan, she beat that guy." She put her hands on her hips. "The Briefs also want you to come, to discuss that big business deal."
"What?" He blinked. "Oh, yeah, that."
"So, what do you say?" She asked sweetly.
"You have a meeting with the Briefs?" The woman stood up. "THE Briefs?"
"Doi." Melissa rolled her eyes. "What rock have you been hiding under? Oh, yeah. The meeting is tomorrow, but you better get ready for Mr. Satan's birthday party. You wouldn't want to be late for the former world martial arts champian's big birthday, would you?"
"You're going to Mr. Satan's birthday party?" Her jaw dropped.
"Oh, yeah... how forgetful of me." He shot the girl a questioning look. "If you'll excuse me Trisha, I have to get ready."
"You wouldn't go without me, would you?" She asked, standing up and puffing out her chest.
"He already has a date." Melissa smirked. "Sorry... auntie Trisha."
"Hmph." She crossed her arms and grabbed her bag, storming out the door. "You'll be hearing from my lawyer, David Michael."
"I'm sure I will." He sighed and sat down. "Melissa..."
"What?" She asked innocently. "I got rid of her, didn't I?"
"Where did you learn to lie like that!?" He exclaimed.
"Must have picked it up from Miss huffy-puffy back there." She shrugged.
"Thanks, Mel." He said.
"So, can I go to Pan's party?" She asked.
"There really is a party?" He blinked.
"Yeah, Pan beat up loser-Jerry and won him as a slave for a month." She grinned widely. "We're celebrating at Cap. Corp."
"Who all will be there?" He asked.
"Bra, Pan, another girl named Pam, Trunks, Goten, and Juunana-gou." She counted off. "Plus me, if you say yes."
"There are going to be guys at this party?" He asked.
"Come on, David-ojisan. It's Trunks, president of Capsule Corporation. He could have any woman he wanted, why would he pick me? The other one is Bra's boyfriend and Pan's uncle, and Juunana-gou is... Juunana-gou. He blushed when he and Pan accidentally brushed lips in the car." She crossed her arms. "You owe me."
He sighed. "Fine, but no boys alone with you... and call me before you go to bed... and in the morning."
"I'll see you tomorrow." She said. "You worry too much."
"Be good, don't drive too fast." He called as she walked off. "Don't eat too much or you'll make yourself sick."
The girl laughed from the hallway and started gathering things to take.

Trunks sighed as he walked through the halls at Capsule Corporations's office building. He hated working here with a passion. He'd much rather be flying around outside, or hanging out with Goten, even training with Vegeta would be better than this! The purple-haired paper pusher shifted the parcel in his hands and dropped it on the desk.
"Marie, get someone to take this to the post-office." He said, leaning on the desk.
A middle-aged woman rolled herself on her office chair. She had a pencil sticking from between her lips, a laptop balancing on her legs, and a stack of papers the size of Bra's clothes collection falling all over the place.
"Where's Jill? Can't she do it?" The woman dropped the pencil as she talked and leaned over to get it, dropping the papers and the laptop in the process. "I'm kind of busy."
"She had to go, family emergency." He said tiredly.
"I'll see what I can do, Trunks-san." She started gathering the papers.
"Thanks. I'll be in my office. Don't let anyone in unless it's an emergency." The warrior started walking.
"Hai, Trunks-san." She sighed.
The president was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn't notice himself run into something... and that something hit the floor with a squeak.
"I'm sorry." He said, looking down. "I wasn't paying attention."
"N-no, it was my fault." She said, pushing her glasses up and gathering papers.
Trunks squatted and helped. "I don't recognize you, are you new?"
"Hai." She said, picking up the papers. "Today's my first day."
"I see. What division are you in?" He handed her the rest of the fallen stack.
"Computer development." She said quietly, looking into his face for the first time. Her eyes widened and she bowed her head.
"Gomen nasai, President Briefs.. I didn't mean to waste your time... I know you're busy." She said, starting to stand.
He stood up and then pulled her to her feet as well. "Don't worry about it, I'd rather be out here talking to pretty ladies than in there argueing with people over the vidphone."
She blushed at the 'pretty ladies' remark. No one had ever called her anything other than four-eyes or geek.
"Have a nice day, uh... ?"
"Suzaka, but everybody calls me Suzu." She blurted quickly.
"Beautiful name." He said and then sighed again. "I'd like to stay and chat, but I'm sure you've got things to do, and I most certainly should be working."
"Hai." The small woman gripped her papers and tried to step by Trunks, but Trunks did too, in the same direction.
"Gomen." She appologized and moved back so he could pass.
"No problem, Suzu." He waved slightly as he disappeared down the hall.
The woman, face slightly red, turned and walked briskly away.
***
Trunks sunk into his leather chair and turned toward the overly-large picture window behind his desk only to be met with four sets of eyes.
"About time." Bra said irritably.
"Finally." Goten stood up and stretched his achy limbs. "What were you doing, anyway? Taking a little break with one of the ladies in the presidential lounge?"
Trunks glared. "I was working, unlike some people."
"Excuse me for having a social life." The demi-Saiyan crossed his arms.
"A social life which consists of my sister and your neice." He snapped. He was far too tired for this.
"Jeez, man. Don't burst a vessel." Goten held his arms up.
"I'm sorry, I'm just tired." He kicked his shoes off. "I need to fight."
"Well, don't do it with us." Pan said, floating in the air, legs crossed. "Ditch this dump, come have a party with us."
"Party?" He sat up.
"Just a little movie party." The girl shrugged. "Eat some food, have some fun."
"Who else will be there and what are we celebrating?" The demi-Saiyan asked.
"Us and two other girls, and we're celebrating me beating Jerry no baka."
"I'm there, let me just finish this paperwork..."
The group groaned.
"Just kidding." He tossed his pen into a jar ten feet away and it landed perfectly. "Let's go."
"Cool." Bra stood up and stretched. "Can't wait to get there. I call the couch with Goten!"
"And what exactly are you two going to do on the couch?" Pan cocked an eyebrow. "With my uncle."
"You have a sick mind." Bra glared and looked at Goten who was blushing slightly. "I just meant snuggling."
"I think I'm gonna be sick." Pan and Trunks both said.
Juunana-gou cracked a small smile.
"Come on, let's go." Bra opened the window and jumped out with Goten.
"Wait up." Pan turned to the window. "Come on, Trunks, get that booty in gear!"
Trunks stood and stretched.
"We'll meet you at CC." Pan grabbed the unsuspecting cyborg's hand and leapt from the window.
A few seconds later, the demi-Saiyan followed.
***
"Night night, uncle David. See you tomorrow." She said as she zoomed out the door and hopped in her car.
She was gone before he even got to the door to wave.
***
Melissa rang the doorbell at Pam's house a few times before the door opened.
"Is Pam here?" She inquired of the tall blond man.
He nodded. "Who are you?"
"Gomen, my name is Melissa Birdrim, I'm driving Pam to the party." She explained.
"Party?" He crossed his arms. "She didn't say anything about a party. She said she had a date... Pam!"
"What?" She called from what was obviously up the stairs.
"A friend of yours is here." He said as she poked her head around the corner. "What's this about a party?"
"Oh! The party!" She slapped her head. "I completely forgot!"
"You... did...?" Melissa looked puzzled.
She nodded. "I got asked on a date after you guys left and forgot about the party."
"Oh.... k." The blond girl blinked. "So, you're going on the date instead?"
She nodded. "I'm really sorry, it completely left me... you can help me get ready if you want, so we can talk for a while anyway."
"All right." She said slowly. "The others will be disappointed."
"Nah, they'll get along without me." She shook her head, seeming alot less shy when in her own house.
Sharpner moved aside so Melissa could come in and Pam motioned for her to come upstairs which she did.
"So, who's the luckky guy?" She asked as they entered the large bedroom.
"His name's Jerry." She said dreamily. "He's a real bishonen."
"Jerry!?" Her head snapped to where the younger girl was daydreaming. "As in, the captain of the football team, Jerry?"
She nodded.
"Pam, you can't go out with him." She took the younger girl's shoulders.
"Why not?" She looked up, confused.
"He's a player! He's got a bad rep for using em and losing em. He and Pan went out and...-"
"He and Pan went out?" She asked and Melissa nodded. "So... why shouldn't I go?"
"Because he's just using you to get back at Pan!" The older girl said. "You can't go."
"You just don't want me to go so that he and Pan can get back together." She said. "Because the captain of the football team wanted me and not her."
"That's not true! Pam, I don't want you to get hurt, you have to believe me." She insisted.
"You're just jealous." She pulled away and turned her back. "I thought you guys were my friends. I guess I was wrong. Just leave."
"But Pam...."
"Leave!" She shouted.
Melissa sighed and started to leave. "Don't say I didn't warn you, Pam. You're bringing what's coming tonight onto yourself." And she left.
***
"What?!" Bra and Pan screeched, causing the demi-Saiyans to wince and cover their ears. "She's going out on a date with Jerry?!"
Melissa nodded. "I don't know where they're going... she didn't say... but you have to get over there and stop him from using her! She's only a freshman!"
"Kuso!" Pan swore. "You all stay here, I'm going to go get her."
"I'm coming with you." Trunks said.
"No, you'll only make it worse, Trunks." Pan shook her head. "Just stay here, watch the movies and I'll catch you later."
The warrior reluctantly nodded as Pan grabbed her jacket and flew out the door, leaving a wind-rush in her wake.
***
When Pan got there it was already dark out. She'd tracked Jerry's ki to the same place where he'd taken her. Same restaurant, same street light they were parked under, until his and the smaller ki that appeared to be Pam's seperated.
She heard sobs.
Very soft, faint sobs coming from the other side of the street.
"Pam." Pan walked over, seeing her blond hair mussed and her spaghetti strap top torn in the front.
The girl's head snapped up and she quickly looked away when she saw who it was.
"Pan." She said softly. "Melissa was right. You were right."
"Are you all right?" The older girl knelt in front of her.
"I'm fine." She said quickly, but it didn't sound like she meant it, not even to herself.
"Pam... did he force you? If he did, you need to report it. He needs to be punished." Pan turned the girl's face towards her own.
She did what surprised Pan more than if she'd grown bunny ears. She grinned. "Did I ever tell you that dad made me take martial arts when I was younger? So that I could defend myself if I needed to?"
"No... you never told me that." She was starting to get the picture.
"I was a brown belt." She grinned wider.
"You were...?" Pan blinked.
She nodded.
Pam punched the sidewalk, hard, and didn't flinch. "I don't think he's going to be at school for a few days."
"What'd you do?" She asked.
"I think I broke his nose... more." She smirked. "And cracked his wrist... among other things."
The fourth-Saiyan stifled a laugh.
"Serves him right." She said. "So... why were you crying?"
"Because if I hadn't had the sense to get away when he did this," she pointed to her ripped shirt. "He would have hurt me.... and I would've walked right into it. It was just scary."
"I know." She agreed.
"Melissa said you went out with him... did he...?" She looked up.
"Huh? Oh! No way." She shook her head. "Believe it or not, I bombed his car right over there."
"What? How?" She blinked.
Pan charged up a small amount of ki in her hand and lauched it into a vacant lot. It exploded into a burst of fire and light.
"Wow! How'd you do that? Are you some sort of super hero?" She asked.
"You could say that." She shrugged. "You could probably do it to."
"Really?" She looked up.
"You'd just need to learn to use your ki." Pan stood up. "But for now, let's get you home."
"Actually... do you mind if I still come to your party... I mean, I know I sorta ditched you all for my date... but..." She looked up.
Pan smiled. "No problem. I'll take us back."
"But it's a two hour drive from here." She pointed out.
"Who's driving?" She grinned and pulled the younger girl up, blasting into the air.
"I'm... we're flying!" She exclaimed. "Only the great Saiyamen can do that!"
"And their children." Pan smiled widely and put on a burst of ki, holding Pam around her waist and who seemed to be greatly enjoying flying.
"Wow..." She breathed.
"There's alot you don't know about me." The Saiyan girl said. "But you will."
Pam smiled and held her arms out. "I can't wait."
***
Pan and Pam entered the Capsule Corporation building, the latter looking at everything with wide, hazel eyes. "It's so big."
"Yeah, I still get lost and I've come around here since before I can remember." She replied. "Let's find the others. They're in the livingroom."
The two entered the livingroom and Pan scanned the room. Trunks was on the smaller sofa, watching the movie with on leg up on the coffee table and Melissa sprawled over his mid-section, golden curls falling all around her and on him. Juunana-gou was laying on the floor, on his stomach, with his face resting on his hands, propping himself up with his elbows. Goten and Bra were all over eachother on the larger couch.
"Now that's just sick." Pan flipped the light on, causing Trunks and Juunana-gou to look over. Melissa was asleep and Goten and Bra were too busy playing tongue-tag to notice.
"Tell me about it. She's my sister!" Trunks exclaimed.
"He's my uncle." Pan crossed her arms.
"If they get married, we'll be siblings." The warrior said, looking at Pan.
"I almost slept with you!" The both exclaimed. "Gah!"
Melissa slowly woke up and looked up into Trunk's disgusted face.
He looked down and his expression changed. "Oh well, at least we didn't."
"Tell me about." She agreed.
"Did I fall asleep?" Melissa asked sitting up.
He nodded.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to doze off in your lap." She said.
He pulled her back down and grinned. "You were keeping my legs warm. Stay there."
She shrugged and turned toward the television.
Pan walked over to the couch and tapped Goten's shoulder.
He jumped slightly and looked into Pan's accusing face.
"Uncle Goten, have you no shame!?" She grabbed him by his collar and hauled him up. "We're at someone else's house, I'm here, Juunana-gou's here, Melissa's here, and TRUNKS is here! I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to see you all over his sister, and I don't want to see you and my best friend all over eachother, so save it for the bedroom."
"We were just kissing." Bra defended innocently. "I'm not a slut you know."
"Never said you were, B, but my uncle is a horney bastard, and I'm sure we don't want to see him jumping you on this couch." She said, pushing her uncle's legs off and motioning for Pam to sit down. "Outta the way, Goten."
Goten grumbled and sat up, pulling Bra into his lap and scooting to the right side of the couch.
Pan nodded and the youngest of the group sat down on the left side of the couch, pulling her feet against her chest and watching the movie.
The quarter-Saiyan laid down on the floor next to Juunana-gou. "How's the movie?"
"Pretty good." He answered. "Although the fight scenes are really bad. You can see the strings."
"Figures." Pan said, scooting closer to the cyborg for warmth. "It's cold in here."
Juunana-gou looked over at Pan and put his arm around her, pulling her against his semi-warm body. "Better?"
"Much, thanks." She snuggled against him.
He rested his head against hers and looked back to the movie.
Pan smiled to herself, feeling safe for some reason of which she wasn't sure, and turned to watch the badly dubbed American movie.
***
The group woke up to the smell of eggs, bacon, toast and other assorted goodies.
Goten was the first to get up for the food, waking Bra in the process.
Juunana-gou and Pan, who had both fallen asleep on the floor somewhere right before the movie ended, were still laying against eachother.
Pam woke up when her Goten-leg-pillow moved, and Melissa and Trunks both woke to the wonderful smell of cooking breakfast foods.
"Mmm.. food." Melissa and Trunks said, sniffing even before opening their eyes.
Trunks opened his eyes and looked down. Melissa was still laying on him, although she appeared to have scooted foward sometime during the night because her arms were dangling around his legs and her head was right near his crotch.
"Erm... sorry." Melissa shot up, running her tired eyes. "I have a tendancy to change position alot while I'm sleeping."
He shrugged. "Oh well." He stood up and stretched. "No harm done."
"Kawaii, ne?" The blonde girl pointed to Pan and Juunana-gou sleeping on the floor.
"Hmm..." He looked at the two. "That's odd. Usually Juunana-gou doesn't let anyone get within a few feet of him. He's been acting strange lately."
"How so?" She asked, looking up from the couch.
"He's just usually more quiet. Never used to do anything social, aside from the occasional sparring match with Juuhachi-gou, but after Marron was born -- or so I'm told -- he became reclusive." Trunks shrugged. "Oh well, I like this version better."
"Hmm..." She stroked her chin and then shrugged. "Can't say I have any reference to work on, but I like him. He's nice."
"Just don't make fun of his hair." Trunks chuckled. "Anyway, let's get some breakfast."
"Shouldn't we wake them up?" Pam asked quietly from the other side of the room.
Both Trunks and Melissa jumped slightly.
"Oi, Pam, you were so quiet I didn't even know you were awake." The older girl said.
"Might as well." The purple-haired warrior walked over and nudged Juunana-gou in the side with his bare foot. "Get up, Juu."
"Uhn.." He groaned and shifted slightly, turning so he and Pan were face to face, her curled against him.
"Kawaii!" Both girls squealed.
'Click' A camera flash alerted the others of an adult.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Trunks asked, brushing his hair from his face.
"Just taking some pictures." She snapped one of him and then Melissa. "Could you two stand next to eachother?"
Melissa raised a blond eyebrow, but stood up anyway.
"Put your arm around her." Bulma smiled brightly.
Chi Chi was chuckling from behind.
Trunks sighed and did as his mother said.
"Don't look so tired!" She exclaimed. "And don't look so tense. Relax."
"Relax." He muttered and put on his best business smile, leaning casually against the girl.
"You too, dear." Bulma urged Melissa, who was looking genuinly uncomfortable with the hunky Saiyan so close. What if her uncle saw this??
The girl leaned against him and wrapped her arm around his waist, pasting a forced, bright smile on her face.
::Look on the bright side, girl. You may not know him, but he's still one hot hunk. You could show the pictures off to your friends.:: She smiled widely at that thought.
'Click'
The two sighed and moved a few inches away from eachother.
"That was awkward." Trunks said.
"Yes, very." She agreed as more clicks could be heard.
Bulma took several pictures of Juunana-gou and Pan and a few of Pam. Chi Chi informed them that she'd already gotten Goten and Bra in the kitchen.
"Can I have a copies of those pictures?" Melissa asked, glancing back at Trunks as they walked to the kitchen.
"Sure, dear." Bulma patted her shoulder.
"Great, I can see it now. President Trunks Briefs has love affair with eleventh grader." He mumbled.
Chi Chi laughed from behind. "No one besides us knows she's only a junior. Besides, you'll improve her image at school."
"How so?" He asked the woman, turning around.
"She'll be seen in pictures with the president of Capsule Corperation. The sexy, available president." She smiled as she passed.
"What am I, a trophy??" He asked incredulously as he followed.
The Son woman laughed louder and disappeared into the kitchen.
