| WAH! How it All Began...an Anime Obession Story | ||||||||||
| Hiyo! Ohgenki desu ka? heehee. Just practicing. First, I have to thank a real real close and terribly good friend of mine, Inori!! THANKS INORI !!! This wondeful person was the first to send me down the Anime road! How lost I'd been! See, Inori was like totally obessed with Fushigi Yuugi at the time and we sat next to each other in class. So one day I say, "What's that Fushigi Yuugi thing anyways?" (of course I didn't say it right *blush*) But anyways- She lent me the first tape of FY and well- gee- can't ya tell from all these Anime Pages- I Got HOOKED!!! Of course, I'm not as obessive about Anime as Inori is. At least not all of it- But no one better try to take my FY away from me. That's all I'm gonna say!! *growl*! After FY, I saw The Vision of Escaflowne. Wonderful series- but Darn IT! Van & Hitomi belonged together!! (sorry- if I spoiled anything) The ending was just too suddened and not complete. Didn't you just love Van's wings!!! * glittered-eyed* After that the anime in my house began incresing like a bunch of Rabbits!!! Which BTW wouldn't it be great if Anime duplicated itself like rabbits?- Just think of how much anime would be around in just one DAY !!! *dreams* But seriously, *thinks if she's ever serious?* I couldn't imagine how I ever went around not knowing anime- especially Fushigi Yuugi- *practically worships Watasa Yuu* You know I even named a STAR after Fushigi Yuugi- and No! that's not being obessive!! *smile* Shortly, after my anime experience, my friends and I started an Anime Club. And for lack of a better name we called it "The Anime Club". Our first meeting was held in the school media center. Inori became Vice President One (we had two just cause everyone should have a job) and I ended up being voted President!! *I tried getting Inori into the office cause she knew sooo much more than me about anime -she still does-!!! But everyone was against me* Basically, the Club was a way for us all to get together at someone's house from like 3 to 9 and watch anime and eat pizza. It was also a way to pool money together, each person giving $5, at every meeting until we had enough money to buy a piece of Anime. Then we took our little baby anime wrapped it all snuggly warm and stood back and watch it multiple *wink* into 4 perfectly identitical anime tapes!!! One tiny anime baby for each of us! *light shines down on Neko* It was a MIRACLE!!! Our club has sort of fell apart now that school is out and we're all going to college- expect for one little anime fan in our group...*wipes away a tear* But the most important thing is - ok it's things- ONE- that we're still all friends!! and TWO we still all get together to watch anime and THREE every now and again we throw our money together and buy ANIME !!!!!! and of course the MIRACLE happens again!! *wink* Currently- I'm into Tenchi Muyo- Actually I'm planning on naming my car after one of the characters. So if you ever see a little aqua cavalier fying down the street it might be RYO-OHKI !!!!! my CAR!!! *grin* That's not too much right? Just please be sure your not carrrying any carrots! We don't want the trouble which occured in episode 3 of Tenchi Universe to happen!!! (in case you didn't see this episode - Ryo-ohki was in her battle ship form when she saw a carrot in Sasami's hand via telescreen since Sasami was on Ayeka's ship leaving earth and crazyly thew herself into Ayeka's ship ((where the carrot was)))- CRASH! BOOM !!!! and Ayeka's ship was gone! so let's not repeat that little episode-ok?) I'd rather like to have my Ryo-oh- ki for a while. I'm even thinking of getting a license plate with "RYO-OH-KI" on it!! |
