| I First fell in love with the beautiful style of this series (sometimes called Ruroken) before I even saw the TV series. I purchased the first 3 volume tape of RK and enjoyed them- though they were not what I expected. The tv series is somewhat long, but some episodes are, as always, better than others. The OAVs for Roruken were AWESOME though but very very bloody and dark colored. The OAV explains Kenshin life before the tv series and how he becomes the master swordsman that he is. ^_^!
