Ryoga is a very determined, poectic young martial artist. He considers Ranma his rival, of which started over bread at school and ended up with Ranma knocking him into 'Spring of Cursed Drown pig' whislt in Jusenkyo, China. Ryoga had followed Ranma there because he believed that Ranma had run away from a aranged fight they organised, only it took Ryoga four days to get there. (The lot at the back of his house).
Ryoga has two major character flaws. (well, except turning into a pig) The first, is his terrible sense of direction. He always gets lost and I mean always. Poor Ryoga. And of course Ranma doesn't give him a break for this. The second is how gullible he is. Ranma can trick him incredibly easily by dressing up and pretending to be his sister, fiancee etc and Ryogas none the wiser. Shampoo also finds this flaw an avantage.
Overall I think Ryoga is a sweet, sensitive character who is greatly misunderstood. hes my favourite character because hes just so appealing. Unfortuanatly, he also has a bad temper when provoked (usually by Ranma). Also he has a huge crush on Akane, who adopted 'P-Chan' and even lets him sleep in her bed. Later on, Manga only however, he finds the girl who may well be his soul mate, Akari Unryuu, a sumo pig breeder who is totally obsessed with pigs and is delighted when Ryoga tells her his secret.
