| Ranma Saotome is a normal 16-year-old Japanese boy. Until one day, when his father takes him on a trip to Jusenkyo for some 'training'. Unfortuanatly, Ranma and his Dad fall into cursed springs, and while his Father emerges as a cute giant panda, Ranma emerges as a... GIRL??? Yep. From now on, cold water turns him female and hot reverses the effect. Guess hes not ordinary any more. Well, to make it worse he also has three fiancees, Akane, Ukyo and Shampoo. (don't laugh at the name Shampoo. Aparently, its Chinese) It turns out, Akanes dad, Soun and Ranmas Dad, Genma had made them be engaged to continue the Tendo Dojo. Ukyo, was engaged to Ranma in return for food, and according to Shampoo, when th kiss of death is given to the opposite sex, they are engaged.
