Advanced V.G. for PSX and Saturn Differences (Courtesy of E-Nice)

Well, they are the same but there are also some minor differences:

1) Manami's background stage is different on PSX from Saturn.

2) The PSX background has different buildingsback there and is better to look at but the Saturn version has a better looking wall, where those girls in the background are leaning against.

3) Satomi's stage is also changed. On the PSX there are no windows.

4) Kaori's background also I think also was slightly modified.

5) The big differences are for Story Mode and Normal Mode.

6) In Normal Mode they show you some pictures of the defeated girls on Saturn.

7) Story Mode on the PSX makes you fight K-1 and K-2 twice. The Saturn makes you fight them once. Not sure i that changes if you bump up the difficulty. But I never played it all the way through on hard. And it may be just me but I felt the K-2 battle was tougher on Saturn.

8) Yuka has a different ending. In the PCEngine, SNES, and PSX she has the same one where she blows out the wall at the gun practice area but the Saturn has her walking through desert. Everyone else's endings I think were the same.

9) That spinning Manami I think is better on Saturn. Its centered in the middle of the screen rather than on the corner. She also doesn't blur as she spins around.

Playstation vs Sega Saturn Comparsion Shots

Kaori's seems more of color change than
anything else.

and now for something a little different...

Advanced V.G. PC Engine CD version

1) It may not load as quick as the PSX/Saturn version, or look as colorful, or play as fast, or have as crisp audio in cutscenes, etc....but there are some minor things not found in those other two version.

2) Mainly music playing during the cutscenes. It really adds to the feel of Story Mode.

3) Though it also gives Reimi her own background, instead of sharing it from the hybrids bg. The traditional marriage theme plays in her ending as well, which was changed to a different theme in the PSX/Saturn.

4) In its character intro, after the anime opening, it doesn't play music, as in PSX/SS, but instead the characters speak.  The audio is muffled and low quality though.  A lot of the Story Mode speech is the same, unless its streamed off the cd (where it then sounds so much better).
