I saw this picture in a dolphin book. I changed it to suit my purposes. I had a rock that I wanted to do a scene on and finally decided on a killer whale and baby. To show just how manuverable a water environment is, I put the adult upside down.
Well, Acually, I painted the adult first and then put the baby on the opposite direction to show it off a bit better. Both explainations work. I was a little at a loss of how to do shading beyond using gray to highlight areas. I couldn't even use black as shadow 'cause the whales themselves are black. I think I managed fine.
