I've gotten many compliments on it. The irony is that it was pretty easy to make. The brown background is just one colour and the furlines are a slightly lighter colour. The black on the face is just to add a little perspective and shadow. I'd have to say that what really makes this rock is the bone in his mouth. Interestingly enough, the only reason I added a bone was because I had accidently left way too much room under his head for his little paws. There was not a chance I was going to repaint his head so I just added a bone as filler.
