I've been horse crazy all my life, but started riding in 1996. Feberuary 2, 2000, I bought my first horse. She is a ten-year-old Hanoverian/Canadian Thoroughbred cross, dark bay, 16.3hh. Her barn name is Sophia, but she will be shown as Feature Presentation. She turned out to be much greener than I had thought, so she and I are learning many things together. She behaved very well at her first show and is showing promising potential for her career as an equitation horse. I've dedicated my life to horses and will enter a four-year university equine program in fall of 2001. I plan to show IHSA throughout college and compete with my own horse when I'm not at school.
