| 6-3-03 Where to start? Well, I met him last week and I think that's a pretty good place. I suppose when you meet a celebrity the question always in the back of your mind is whether that person will be as lovely/witty/kind/talented, etc. as they appear on television. Well, in this particular case, the answer is an emphatic YES, YES, and AGAIN YES!! Tyler Florence is as 3-dimensional real as they come, and so I think the title of his new book REAL kitchen is just as appropriate as it can be. I had the opportunity of filming a segment on FOOD 911 and it was such a good time. Everyone, from the producers to the crew to Tyler Florence was soooo nice. I was on a cloud for days. Now, back down a little, I'm going crazy about the cookbook. My goal is to try each and every recipe and talk about them here on the page. Feel free to join in should you have any input or critiques of your own. Should be fun. I will go for now but come back soon with photos from my glorious day as one of Tyler's food "Victims".
