but something inside me just keeps saying no
something reminds me of love we once had
and how we have fblown it cos weve both done bad
but its only this way cos of things that we say
when we`ve given up fighting and left it astray
when we wanted before we could make it all good
but you cant and it hurts me and i know that it should

i remember a time when it was you this way
and i listened to you as you let your heart pour
which made me think hard and then just love you more
and i answered your cries and your pleas for my trust
and i asked you for yours as we knew that we must
but then in the end,your new friend came along
and you stopped needing me and it all then went wrong
but i suppose i should stop and look at your ways
and listen to the language that your action then says
and realise that the love that you had was not fair
for all that you need is somebody who`s there
when i only did my best to care....
