McKenzie to lead SA 'A'

Convenor of selectors Omar Henry on Thursday announced the South African ‘A’ side to face Australia ‘A’ in the first three internationals of their tour to these shores.

The Vincent Barnes-coached side features a good blend of youth and experience, although Daryll Cullinan is a notable omission.

Northern Titans middle-order batsman Neil McKenzie will lead a side featuring a host of full internationals.

Nantie Hayward, Mfuneko Ngam, David Terbrugge and Steve Elworthy will lead the bowling attack, while Ashwell Prince, Jacques Rudolf and Martin van Jaarsveld will offer support to their captain in the batting department.
