	The White Lion at Ystradowen is an ancient hostelry set in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. The White Lion itself is centuries old and has served both residents and visitors alike with well-kept beers, fine wines and good food in gracious and pleasant surroundings for many years.

					We are continuing the traditions and reputation of The White Lion by offering a truly International range of cuisine using top quality, fresh, local Ingredients, prepared to the highest standards.


	We offer an extensive Menu with dining options to suit all budgets and tastes; our excellent Grill section, Numerous Vegetarian dishes, a Salad selection, Jacket Potatoe and Filled Baguette in the Lunch Time Light Bites as well as our Mouth Watering Main Courses. There’s also Traditional Sunday lunch, so come along and try the full "White Lion" experience. The Head Chef has an excellent reputation and is well known and respected in the South Wales area. He has vast experience from a wide range of establishments; Village Pubs to 4 Star Hotel Resorts and Fine Dining. He leads the kitchen team to produce consistently excellent meals at a price that won’t break the bank.
