Craig "Craiger" Dennis
President

A native of New Jersey, Craiger’s love for flying began on his way to rank of Eagle Scout when he earned the Aviation Merit Badge. He went to college in Ohio at Kent State University where he played football and captained the track team. After graduating from Kent State University in 1971 with a B.S. in Health Education, “Craiger” joined the Air Force through the Officer Training Program (OTS) and was awarded “The Outstanding Athlete Award” for his class. In 1986 he earned his Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle University. Upon graduation from Navigator training, he went on to accumulate over 3,000 flight hours in the F-4, F-16 and F-15.

During his 21-year career he was stationed in SEA, PACAF, ACC and USAFE, this included two tours at Nellis. In 1980 he graduated from the F-4 Fighter Weapons School with the highest flying grades for a Weapons System Officer. During his second tour at Nellis, Craiger served as Chief, Foreign Materiel Exploitation division, 57th Test Group, and was responsible for planning, budgeting, managing and reporting on Air Force directed Foreign Materiel Exploitations and Special Access Programs. He has conducted several first-ever, high-stakes exploitations involving international participants.

Upon retiring in 1992 he became a consultant for the 57th Test Group and continued to guide the exploitation program. In 1997 it was his vision that led to the formation of AVTECH Research Corporation. Since then his leadership and push have led to the rapid expansion of the Corporation.
