Minimum/General Experience: Three to five years experience pertaining to technical, scientific or program clerical support. Specialized training or education may be substituted for experience. If function is military related, must be qualified in military operations with experience in an active theater of operations desirable.
Functional Responsibility:
- Performs standardized or prescribed clerical/administrative assignments, involving a sequence of related operations.
- Performs all the clerical/administrative duties associated with the routine operations of the program managers or project managers to include report generation, action item development, routine project tracking, contractor coordination, or meeting attendance and meeting minute development.
- Follows standard work methods or explicit instructions; grammatical accuracy of routine work is reviewed on completion; non-routine work may also be reviewed in process.
- Frequently prepares documents, presentations, and publications with assistance from senior production personnel.
- Performs other related duties such as filing, copying files and documents, maintaining library databases, official correspondence, preparing data for transmittal, and other duties.
- Recommends improvements in methods and procedures conducive to a more efficient and cost effective operation and working environment.
Experience: 3 to 5 years applicable experience.
Minimum Education: Non-degreed; combination of education, or equivalent professional experience. Military service may be desirable depending upon administrative function.
