Neil
Dudgeon plays: George Moody
Summary:
This
is a series of mysteries set in the 1930s and starring Dame Diana Rigg
as the unconventional Mrs. Adela Bradley and Neil Dudgeon as her chauffeur
and confidante George Moody. They have an entertaining (and somewhat
ambiguous?) relationship and play well off each other comically.
The stories are interesting and the dialogue is very clever.
Quotes:
Adela:
Parapraxis!
George:
Parapraxis??
Adela:
It's what Dr. Freud would term a slip of the tongue, or a lapse of memory
revealing an unconscious desire.
George:
It's not what you might call a useful word, Madam.
Adela:
Then how about paramour, an illicit lover?
George:
How am I supposed to get that into an everyday sentence?
Adela:
That's the challenge, George.
