Abstract  Expressionism
I am not really sure if my style is called abstract expressionism, but I value individuality and spontaneous expression.

I will sometimes explain art that I create in this style as combining abstraction with some representation that is not necessarily keeping to the rules of natural looking colour or form.

I started most of my music and
jazz paintings by painting an abstract background first and then overlaying a line drawing of figures.

Since the addition of representational art changes the overall compostion, I  then need to find a way to integrate the represented figures with the abstract background.

In some cases, I leave some of the abstract paint inside the figures as in the
Peruvian Musicians.
