Porsche 3.6 Carrera

June 2001
I now have my Carrera 3.6 back.
Power is so smooth, engine noise isn't as harsh as
the old 3,2 motor. The twin outlet exhaust looked a bit
too "boy racer"ish but it has now grown on me but the
sound it makes is fabulous!
Electric spoiler does the biz as it should, I have stuck a little
Union Jack on the back, when the spoiler lifts a UJ is presented.

Conclusion
Loved the power of the turbo but cant really use it.
C2 has the power and growls enough for me
My girlfriend hated the idea of the Turbo tail on the narrow Carrera, dont like spoilers too much myself but i can compromise, C2 electric spoiler is also being fitted.

March 2001 70,000 trouble free kms until now. My motor needs a rebuild, (220,000 kms) either big ends have failed or the crank is on its way out, test drove a phase 2 turbo and a C2 to decide on which engine to upgrade to.
There goes my respray.......

3.3 Turbo
This is a hooligans car, if it was a bike it would be a YPVS, loved it, nothing below 4000RPM, after that the world becomes a blur, wouldnt suit my driving style, and drinks too much for me to use on a regular basis.

C2 3,6
This car was much like the Carrera 3,2. My car felt faster on acceleration but the C2 handled better, but then again you dont drive someone elses car at the limit. This is the one for me.
