Union Jack - ApHC

Jack was foaled on February 27, 1976 at Abilene, Texas. The owner and breeder was Martha L. Murgia. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who might have any full brothers or sisters or who might know something about this line.

This is a photo of him when he was quite a bit younger. In this photo he has very little white .

The description on his papers reads "chestnut, roan over body and hip, star, stockings both hind, scar left hind." The papers were submitted on November 28, 1978, so his scar was from a very early injury.

"Jack" has known his name to be "Union Jack" for most of his life, but he is registered under the name Wichita Bunch with registration # 285,155.

This is Union Jack.

Waza Witch (T102,447)

Waza Anna (Jockey Club 5710553)

I have a paper that shows other Jack Bunch produce before 1973 as:

    Julius Bunch 67, G
    Patsy Bunch, 68, M
    Hour Time, 71, S
    Doc Bunch, 68, S
    Hunk a Bunch, 67, S

While it is unlikely that many (if any) of these horses are still around, some of their get may be. I am not interested in purchase, just curious about "Jack's" family.

At one time Jack Bunch was standing at Alvis Blankenship's in Lawn, Texas. His produce record up until 1973 was ROM produce - 185, Arena ROM produce - 105, Race ROM produce - 77, and AQHA Champ produce - 41. I do not participate in breed activities, so know very little about what any of this means.

I bought Jack (Wichita Bunch) in 1987 from Sue Lyons from Houston. She purchased him in 1980.
