Model Horses
It all began when I wanted a 1"/1' scale horse for the miniature barn I'm making from an ikea "greenhouse". I had no idea that Breyer and other model horses were a big collectible and "showing" industry!

I found out through trial and error that I wanted the Classic or B-Ranch size for this dollhouse scale. Actually the B-Ranch ones are a tad smaller and work better with the doll house 1/12 scale. In the process of looking I found some great pages. I am really a newbie at this, but will list the best links I've found.

I have also posted elsewhere on the site some photos of my horse in hopes of getting a customized model horse to put with my miniatures. Just as soon as I get it finalized, I'll let you know who is doing it. He won't be easy to do, but I have high hopes!

Well, I can tell you now! Tammie Cappuccio of CSpots is going to repaint Ambrosia. This is one of the Terrang molds. Somehow it reminds me of Jack - except Jack has a much better tail - and he's an Appaloosa. Tammie does some great appaloosas - you'll enjoy her site at http://modelhorse.homestead.com/homepage.html.
