A Look at the Grandview Cut

Imagine what this view would look like without any trees.

This is one view of the 'Cut' that many people enjoy from their homes, along the bike path, or walking from the Drive.

The Grandview Cut is a forested ravine in East Vancouver, running from Slocan Street to Clark Drive. Dug out in the 1910's for a rail line, it is now home to 5 species of trees and over 70 species of birds. The `Cut' serves as a vital wildlife corridor, providing habitat and fresh water for many animals and birds in the City.
