USE OF THE TECHONOLOGICAL TOODS IN OUR RESPECTIVE WORKS

Marleny Tubiñez: We as documentalist has been characterized ourselves to carry out technical activities: selection, acquisition, cataloguing, classification and diffusion of the documentation, working mainly with printed and technological format, of course we work with information which is the vital resource or the raw material. For such reason we should acquire abilities and knowledge that allow our adaptation to other technologies and to assume the new reality that is presented for a professional practice according to the necessities required by the modern society.
The uses of new technologies have flooded the fields of the information and the documentation. If they didn’t exist in our work it had been tedious to manage the information. For such reason in our center we have several computers that are plows in net so the users can request the information true mail, we have a data base that allows us to know the status of each book, this way the searching is easier.
Clara Guzmán: For us it is very important the technological tools, therefore the information are stored and the searches are made easier true them. To also carry out good service besides the computers and the data base we manage a scanner, photocopier and a printer.
Ø The technological advances have provided tools in the documental field, in our center these tools allow us:
Ø Execute with reliability the sequences of daily tasks as registration, control and handling of the documentation.
Ø Store information in the units of storage and recover them when it is required.
Ø They allow processing, to control and to administrate high volumes of information, facilitating their upgrade.
Ø To carry out several simultaneous activities that generates quality and quantity of the service.
Ø It allows the exchange or diffusion of information inside of the organization true nets of transmission of data that permit immediate answers.
Ø Disseminate the information in a selective way.
Neida Briceño: The technological tools in the library “Andres Eleoy Blanco” are of great important; this library is specialized in the agricultural area, where our users appeal to it. Searching for up-to-date and truthful information, our mission is to offer it in the best form and way, in the opportune time and to take advantage of these resources in an effective way.

From bases of international data specialized bibliographical orientation, of local accesses, in net, systems of automation, bibliographical exchange, electronic messaging, among others.
The telematic nowadays is a basic component of the current explosion of information; the technological tools allow the creation and diffusion of new documents, step to the future electronic or virtual libraries, united by freeways of the information, where at the moment this is located in internet.
Today, we cannot conceive a university library’s where the technological tools are not efficient, these allow the exchange the electronic mail is used for the selective diffusion of information. Exchange transfer from remote points.
In my environment of work the technological tools are very useful because they are part of the bibliographical bottom.
