Radisson Knotts Hotel

Buena Park, California

April 13, 2002

Disclosure: The characters appearing on this page are much, much more attractive, gorgeous, and astonishingly beautiful in real life. The camera that was used to shoot these photos obviously did a major disservice to the characters and has been trashed by the owner. This is the second camera to be tossed away for the same injustice that began in San Francisco. The camera's owner has indicated great displeasure over the matter that he has considered signing up for a kamikaze mission to save his reputation. Please do not attempt to do this at home.

Dinner at the hotel during the Cabanatuan Club induction of officers.

Same group, just different smiles. Still the best.

Ahhhh....beautiful women all competing for Rod Cruz, P.E. (Nope, not a Pimp Engineer) But seriously, don't they all look like beauty queens? Girls just gravitate towards Rod, and that's the truth going back in high school.

Wholesome, fresh and enduringly lovely...things all teenage girls aspire for when they grow up. Well, what's your say, guys? You aspire for teens? No way, did I hear it right? I don't think so.

Allyson looks cool here as ever. Lou (wife) is camera shy. Doesn't want to expose her beauty that she felt more comfortable in her burka. For Allyson's eyes only.

Benjie and Marissa Morales-Manacop. How sweetah! The Surgeon-General has determined that looking at the picture for a long time might trigger the onset of diabetes.

At last, after 27 years of waiting... since Rod did not get the opportunity at the prom night.

Beck and Edwin Anonas leading the dance. Lovely couple aren't they?

Nelson and Rod while waiting in line for our group photo. No, they're not pimping!

Mr. Cool once again with the strikingly beautiful Melita Seeping-Ikbala. There's no denying who's the pimp here.

After the dinner-dance, the girls disrobed...I mean...changed into something more comfortable. See all those drinks in the background? The lively chats all through the night overpowered the alcohol - and not the other way around.

Marissa grilling someone with her typical matter-of-fact questioning that Mr. Cool, A.T.T.Y. found bordering on the contemptuous. Charged as guilty, your honor.

Jimmy texting someone in the Philippines while the clock radio on the left was softly playing "Long Ago and Far Away" by James Taylor. Coincidence?

Lou and Allyson Bautista. This is a stolen shot. Lou...please don't kill me...or much worse, don't sue me!

Now, it's Marissa's turn to be grilled! Come one, come all...nobody wants a single word uttered by Marissa go unheard. The room transformed into stillness and total silence that even the next room occupants previously gotten used to the merry noise in our room again woke up. As you can see, even Nelson who usually doesn't pay attention to stories other than his own was so enthralled by Marissa's story telling.

***THE END***
