Chapter 2
Gwen looked up from the spell she was in the process of writing to see Luke, her twin brother and wiccan partner walk in.  It had been their 7-year wiccan anniversary the night before so they were high-strung.

Gwen! I thought we were doing this together, Luke said.

Calm down Luke.  The spell isnt finished yet, Gwen replied.

I felt you earlier, you were doing something and I want to know what, Luke told her.

I justI just put a temper spell on him.  It will wear off by the time they get to Florida, Gwen explained.

That better be it, Luke grumbled.

Besides, this spell will be done before then, Gwen whispered.

I will forgive you this time. Luke responded.

Thank you zhem (brother), Gwen whispered obediently.

Luke was 2 minutes older and therefore her wiccan elder.  She owed him the respect of a wise and powerful master, although it was she who had better control of the magick.

Luke sat down next to his sister, took out his pen and helped her finish.  When the spell was complete, Gwen and Luke signed their wiccan names to seal the spell.  Normally, the signature of a wiccan would set a spell in motion but Gwen had worked in a temporary hold feature so it would be set off when her temper spell wore off of Zac.

Now why are we doing this again? Luke asked.

Ugh.  I already told you, Gwen said.

Luke gave her a look that clearly said <I forgave your ignorance once, I will not be so kind again zhemi (sister)>

I want to meet Hanson and since mom and dad wont let me go to Florida to see them in concert, well use a spell instead, Gwen explained.

It wont hurt anyone will it? Luke asked.  He was a rather peaceful wiccan, unlike his temperamental sibling.

No, Gwen assured him.

But couldnt you just write a transport spell and go to the concert instead of jeopardizing the little girls life? Luke suggested.

No!  Were doin it my way! Gwen yelled.

With that, Luke slapped Gwen across the face with the back of his hand sending her sprawling to the floor.

Breathing hard Luke said, Fine.  We will do it your way Gwen, but this challenge of authority must stop.

I understand zhem, Gwen mumbled, wincing at the pain speaking caused.

Zac opened his eyes and looked out the window and then glanced at his watch, 11:30.

Half an hour left.  Just what I need, Zac muttered to himself in boredom.

In front of him, Taylor sat working on the song that Zac had so heartlessly critiqued earlier that morning.  Next to him, Isaac sat quietly reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  Jessica and Avery shared seats across from their two oldest brothers playing a game of go fish.

Suddenly feeling the need to do something, Zac got up and moved behind his two younger sisters.  Little did Zac know, that the spell Gwen and Luke had written was taking hold.  After inspecting each girls cards, a voice in his subconscious told him what to do.

Ask for kings, she got 3, he whispered cynically in Averys ear.  It wasnt his voice, but the hollow voice of a person he never knew existed.  Look at her cards.  She wont notice, he then instructed.

Do you have any kings? Avery asked, momentarily under the same control as her 17-year-old brother.

Avie! Youre cheating.  Im not playing anymore! Jessica said as tears filled her eyes.

Blinking, Avery looked at Jessica, trying to figure out what on earth her older sibling was talking about.

How am I cheating?  I just asked if you had any kings.  Im confused. Avery responded.

Just then, Jessica looked through the seats and saw Zac stifling fits of laughter.

Zac! Youre such a jerk, the two girls said in unison.

Wiping his eyes, Zac responded, Fuck you, you little sissies.  You cant even take a joke.  You bore me anyways.

At that moment, the captain made an announcement:

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.  We will be arriving in the Orlando airport in approximately 10 minutes.  Please return to your seats and fasten your seatbelts.  Thank you.

As the Hanson family resumed their seats on the plane, Gwen and Lukes spell was working its way deeper and deeper into Zacs mind.

At first glance, Gwen and Luke Milano look like your average 17 year olds.  Gwens shoulder-length brown hair and dazzling brown eyes with flecks of purple contrasted amazingly with Lukes spiked dirty blonde hair and deep emerald green eyes with just a hint of gold.  Both twins stand at 59.

However, Gwen and Luke were not your average teenagers.  After all they were wiccans and dealing with magick is what these twins do best.

Although Gwen and Luke are very social, their life of magick is a secret kept between the two of them.  Not even their parents know what goes on late at night in the confines of the Milano attic.

The twins entered into the realm of magick on their 10th birthday.
