Poetry Adventure: Pick a color, and write a poem describing it using all the senses except sight. For example, if you pick red, how does red feel, what does is smell like, what does it taste like, how does it sound, etc.
Poetry Challenge: The feel of a color
a soft sensation,
a cooling sound.
gentle to touch,
too easily bruised.a sharp scent
of damp and warmth,
bitter to taste
sour and bitingyet the essence of life
of mind and matter
sunwarmed, it beckons
moondrenched, it calls.soothing
to senses
it reaches out
and touches.
My interpretation of green. It doesn't feel quite right yet and I may edit it some more. Suggestions are more than welcome.
